Noting today, no systems etc.
I already have my eyes fixed on that 3.35 at Warwick tomorrow, and provided a decent field I will attempt to find something worth backing in that. Every class 4+ , 3m+ , handicap chase will get some attention from now on. (time allowing)
Back tomorrow, (or later today)

Golf not the end we wanted with Paul Casey however that is golf betting.
For the records he will be put down as a loser although i hope that some of you backed him 5 placers 1/5 odds for which you will be paid out in full.
After this disappointment the golf bets are still 25 points in profit.
Josh, as you indicate will be great to see some bona-fide NH racing tomorrow at Warwick and over the next few weeks the “winter” NH tracks slowly spark back to life – “can’t wait”!…..still a bit of life left in the Turf Flat campaign I know but “spiders coming in….” means NH is back yippee!

Thanks for the lowdown on that handicap hurdle last week
you were spot on because it didn’t get an uncontested lead it gave up the ghost
and was out the first 5
so you have to look a little deeper
I think if you are thinking of backing a short priced horse you have to look at
all the reason why it might get beat rather than the short term positives.
Mark Johnston 2 year olds that are sent over 10f interest me he trains at home for aerobic
fitness so I would be interested to note if backing all his two year old blind over 10f
show a profit in the last 10 years.(any stat guys please let me know)
he has one today at Kempton and the fact that if won over 7f at Beverley
and is now wacked up to 10 strongly suggests the horse is a real stayer
its pedigree doesn’t scream stayer but the way Johnston trains and his understanding of a horses needs
suggest to me that BAILEYS EXCELATE will run well and looks an each way bet to nothing
with the dead 8 runners.
MASSEYS WOOD is also odds on in an 8 runner race at ROSCOMMON(5.00PM)
but thatS on the back of a easy win in a bumper
looks a good horse but anything can happen fto over hurdles so BRAVE POPPY looks
good to combine in an each way double with the Johnston horse.
The first race at Kempton is interesting a low draw over 5f at this track is a major advantage
but all the fancied horse are drawn 6 and above.
In a maiden their quality should be good enough to over come the draw
but they all start with a disadvantage
stall 1-4 are all big outsiders and look unlikely winners but Shadow Seaker in 1
and Poppy Jag in 2 have both got two runs under their belt
and with the early advantage of the two best boxes will likely be up there early
I am going to back both of them pre race and try and lay off after a furlong or two
as I think they will be up there early before the better horses go by in the last couple of furlongs
Shadow Seeker has stall 1 and has lead 6f races at Newmarket and Chelmsford but
faded close home to finish well beat
but the fact he ran at Newmarket is a positive
from the best stall if he get lose on the front end
around the super sharp Kempton 5f he may well be still up there close home
33/1 looks a fair e/w punt
