    1. hi Martin,
I will put link up in tomorrow’s post…
They are pretty much there- in short if Johnston doesn’t have a good week I doubt we will be! 🙂
I just want to make sure I have got him spot on- plenty of ‘pointers’ just want to see if any ‘micros’ as such.
And to see if I can think of anything else.

  1. One tripled rated qualifier and one winner to keep things ticking over.

Well done on the winners yesterday Josh. Pretty certain I was on just about everything on that shortlist in the International barring the winner but that’s life but will be rectifying that from now on particularly with the Dr getting the hike when my membership runs out.

    1. Cheers Nick, yep that Easterby one was punted off the boards, just clung on! SP made 10/3 look very very good. I like his other one in the 4.00 having had a look, but competitive race and no ‘strategies’ to support confidence. His yard is in proper good form now, all of his will be worth a watch I feel in next couple of weeks.
Yep yesterday was fun- glad you can be philosophical! that’s the way it goes, and as I have said before you have to get used to missing the odd winner on these pages, that’s just how it goes. If you can deal with that pain you’ll do fine…

Nick H- he having a bit of a rotten run? I still flick through the emails- and if truth be told there are just a few too many ‘tips’ for my own personal preference- I can’t think it leaves you any room to think about a race yourself sometimes, and the highs are high, the lows are low no doubt. he’ll do fine long term but it certainly isn’t an approach for everyone.

      1. He is doing OK (made profit yesterday although one of the winners was 14/1 with BFSB/PP and 11/1 or less elsewhere) but more of a long term view particularly the way results are worked out (I don’t know if Nick is responsible for that or the people running Betting Insiders) and the almost worse than a politician spin that is put on them. Might be different if I had full access to all the bookies but I don’t. Plus they’re a real pain in the backside as far as when they get posted particularly if you’re out on a Friday/Saturday night. If he was making 500-600 pts profit a year than I could live with it all including the hassle that goes with it but I have made around 200 which isn’t a lot for the amount of effort put it and almost none in the past 3 months.

I do think the recent change in his job has also had a detrimental effect. (I know very well how a busy job effects your concentration when you’re trying to look at the cards in the evening). Its not Nick’s fault but it is what it is.
