IMPORTANT: For the second time I believe since the ‘inception’ of the micro systems in their current form (monthly trainers since August, Jumps Handicappers since October time) a ‘selection’ has won ‘outside’ of the odds range. Today’s 14/1 winner for Tom George will not be included in official results. Before today that angle was 0/14, 1 place with all selections above 9/1- I used 12/1 as the guideline as there were a few places in that range. 14/1 or bigger was 0/9, 1 place. I believe when I write the monthly trainer’s posts I detail the record ‘above the odds’ range. As always micro systems and the price range is a guide, especially when on the boundary. There will always be the odd winner ‘above range’ but over time it evens out. I don’t know how many systems bets have been sent off out of range but it will be quite a few now. As always price is a guide and in general the stats are a guide for your own analysis etc.
Also, Heavy Ground Trainers…Mullins is just Handicap Chases, I believe his 33/1 winner today was a hurdle. Also, these qualifiers are not posted in the portfolio below, only added as a bonus every now and then on quiet days.

I like SPIRITOFTOMINTOUL 2,40 Southwell ran well last time to finish 6th were the pace of the race was to slow for him should be a bit more pace tomorrow and the jockey as won on him before could run well at 25/1 bet 365
Hi Josh
any stats or figures for winners who Pulled Up on their previous race
There are a handful of trainers who are profitable for this idea, just wondered if you had any opinion ?
2 winners yesterday and probably 20 since New Year so, any thoughts ?
Hi Norman, it is an area I have looked into before but dont have any micros that I follow etc. I will have a look in next week’s weekly diary post if I have time as it is an interesting angle. I know Nigel Twiston Davies does pretty well with that type from memory, as does Paul Nicholls. Of course you can be dealing with very small numbers and for that kind of angle it is also interesting to know those that dont do so well etc. Will see what I can find as and when.
I am currently trialling a PU last time angle with Evan Williams hurdlers 121 & under and a few other filters, with a 36% strike rate & around 50 point profit since 2006. Qualifier today, Dye of a Needle 4.05 Catterick. You wouldn’t back it on its form to-date!! Hope this is of interest.
