  1. I will be concentrating on the AW racing at Newcastle specifically the 6.40 Spirit Of The Vale. His record over the course at 1m2f is 1122.The extra 2f at the course lto was probably too far and best ignored.Trainer does well here overall although is 0-3 last 14 days, which dampens confidence a bit,but at 12/1 might be worth the risk.Hugo Palmers 2yo runners do really well here 7/17 so the 14/1 on Photonics 7.10 and 8/1 High Seas 7.40 would seem generous in that context,Hopefully one may continue the good record

  2. GOLF BETS TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP
Justin Rose 1 point EW 14/1 1/4 4 CO WH SJ BF 365
Fine 2nd last week and is always one for the big event, and his stats cannot be ignored last four starts at East Lake no worse than 6th with two 2nds in there.

Paul Casey 1 point EW 20/1 1/4 4 CO SUN 888 not a great fan of Paul for i feel he has failed to reach the heights of his potential, however he his having a good season so far and his stats at East Lake are good with 3 top five finishes in his three visits.

    1. I cannot fancy Casey as he seems to be noncompetitive in the last round when previously in contention. Leishmann looked red hot last week and you cannot discount Jordan Speith if he is fully fit.

      1. Hi Martin
Leisham was outstanding last week however how many players win back to back tournaments and he has only played East Lake once in 2009 finishing 28th at the prices i would rather be on Casey with his proven course form.
I said a couple of weeks ago backing Speith you will lose in the long term he may win the Tour but at 5/1 not for me.
All in all should be a good tournament.

        1. I only put up Spieth because the course in Atlanta requires accuracy Tee to Green. I agree re backing him all the time but you maybe should roll him out for the biggies? Nice to see Jason Day finding his form after his troubles.

What do you like in the Portugal Masters? I put up Tom Lewis last week and he missed the cut. However I am going to give him another go at 55/1 on a course that suits him better.

          1. Two for me at the Portugal Masters Andy Sullivan 20-1 and Stephen Gallacher 60-1 and not an original picks on the PGA but going for Dustin Johnson and Jason Day who I backed last week and looked in better form. GL everyone

          2. For what it’s worth my view on the golf in the States is that Colin has found 2 really solid picks. Justin loves it round East Lake and is a good streak player so should roll on well from last week. While I know what Martin means about Casey getting over the line (he does have previous) he is an incredibly confident character and has a big win in him and he is another who East Lake suits. I actually think if the real DJ turns up this week then he wins but there is a big concern that the injury he suffered may have changed his swing for the worse. Cheers Ben

  3. Two for today that appear unexposed and are having their first run for a new trainer – 4.45 Yar Dream Bounty and 3.40 Yar Seaborn.

  4. It’s Carabao Cup time again and so lots of changes in teams which should level things up a bit. I like Brighton away at 10/3; Huddersfield away at 7/2 and Leicester at home at 3/1.

In the NFL, following on from the Broncos landing the 2.2 at home on Sunday I like the LA Rams at -2 at evens at the 49ers in the early hours of Tuesday.
