Nothing much to add today. There is no horse I really want to be on as a ‘bet of the day’ – I will personally be leaving the shorter priced ones. Asuncion is a massive price but is so far out of the handicap it is a struggle to see her winning. I did think it is a 4 runner race and anything can happen, she may get an easy lead and the trainer is in form. And is 25s/20s. She is more a ratings pointer horse by default but I need to be consistent with how I put those up- if they are top 3, up they go, even if only three have ratings. Having said that I doubt she would be good enough to live with one of the others if they went on and surely one of the other three is taking this. She is rated 78 against 127 for the Scudamore horse. And she isn’t exactly progressive either. Famous last words, and at those odds I may have something on, but more in hope than expectation. If she wins, I will never question a 10/1+ ratings pointer horse again!
Asuncion…well maybe a reason why you should always have a dabble in a race like that. Well beat in the end but she gave it a good go from the front- the winner made a howler of one fence and had she gone there, this one would have been the only finisher.

VERY IMPORTANT: Not much I write/say is ‘very’ important but the completed Results Update/Analysis for 2017 /end of Feb probably is.

Hi Chris, on betfair? I only count standard bookie terms for official results, which was win only given 4 runners, but sounds like you may have had a good bit of place profit there, good work.
