Only a couple in the Jumps Notes today…
JUMPS NOTES
Nigel Twiston-Davies
1.40 Uttox – Templehills – doesn’t tick any boxes against my notes on the rest pattern front but that may not stop him. You have to pick those returning after 90+ days to make a profit. NTD is 5/21, 8 places at the track in non-handicap hurdles, so he has that going for him. Speed rating is top in this also.
2.10- Uttox – Better Days – ticks the weight box in handicaps – NTD 10/25, 13 places with those carrying 11-10 or more, +42 SP. That is in Sept/Oct last three years all runners in handicaps.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend,
Josh

on wednesday I joined hitman racing for just £17.99 a year. apparently he pays £5000 yearly fees for top tipsters, then gives 4 to 7 daily bets, claiming to have made over 3000 points profit in 2 years! seemed worth a go at that price. so far so good, had £10 win bets and won £71. however looked @ review today and somebody said lost half his bank after 6 months. I will make a profit from this! because as am now £53 up after fee, will now bet just £1 wins and if lose £30 will stop altogether with £23 profit! anyone had experience of hitman ?
I have some experience of Hitman results. I followed it for a year but got if for free as I got the task of analysing some services for someone else but they paid for them. The 12 months I did showed a 30 point loss but 12 months is a short sample in the grand scale of things.
Tip – one tipping service to avoid – Lee Bollinbrooke Racing. Has had consistently poor results and is not cheap. Elliott’s Sports Analysis is solid for Golf and weekend football. That is all.
Hi Guys, Did anyone take notice of my message a couple of days ago regarding Robs little system for Listowel ie backing horses that had been placed in the first three earlier in the week and running again at same meeting. It gave three winners from four on the day i reported, and yesterday there were three running in the 2.55 of which came the winner Mileys Dream @ 10/1. Once again well done to Rob. A nice little earner .
Like the look of Gingili in the 310 at Uttoxeter. Very well thought of a couple of years back, he had a poor season with Rose Fobbing last year. Now changed stables and running for the first time for them with a tongue tie and headgear.
Martin – any perspective on the Moore horses at Plumpton today, particularly Golanova?
I know that East Indies has been schooling well and can beat Jim Dandy if he reproduces it on the course. Not much of a price though. Golanova should go well but the stable are not that confident I understand.
Nothing to get too excited about today,Better Days 2.10 and Lord Of Drums look fairly decent bets,I followed the Whittington/Sheehan combo to some success last season and will continue this year with ahraam 3.30,Derek Fox has good record at Uttoxeter riding for Noel Kelly represented by Mash Potato 3.40 20/1,early season stuff and strange results no surprise
from ntd blog….Two go to Uttoxeter today, both with Sam Twiston-Davies aboard.
1.40 – Templehills has had just two outings, a bumper when finishing down the field and a hurdles run at Ffos Las back in May when an encouraging third of ten. That was over 2m and the step up to 2m 4f today should suit very well. Looks sure to go well and can go close.
2.10 – Better Days won well over 2m 7f two outings ago at Worcester in May but didn’t go so well under a 7lb penalty here a couple of weeks later. The break will have done him good and he returns in good heart. Looks to be good each way value but can also show improvement and go close.
Cotai Glory battled on well for the 2nd winning NAP in a row yesterday combining with a nice 3rd for Fort Bastion at 22s to make it another nice day.
Have had two small bets today (although both have already been mentioned). Firstly Better Days runs for NTD at Uttoxeter which is the track he has done best at during “Twister Season” particularly with runners returning off a break. It also ticks the beaten fav LTO angle and looks quite likely to end up amongst the top 2 in the market which also run very well. He drops back down to a class 5 and has good ground like his win 2 starts ago. The handicapper has been kind enough to drop him a couple of pounds which is a nice bonus.
I also like the look of Gingili. When McCain was interviewed 12 months ago he thought he was on a decent mark but needed good ground. In his 4 runs for Rose Dobbin he never had it over hurdles. As a result he is on a nice mark not to mention the cheekpieces and tongue-tie. This is his first run for Johnny Farrelly who I think is a trainer on the up. He is 3/6, 4 places at track over handicap hurdles this year.
