Gamrai ran well, no excuses, close, but not close enough! Little damage done with him, the other three were poor. Well, Small Fry got too far back, stayed on well for 6th. Typically, the one ‘trend’ I used to help shortlist was blown and I was on the wrong JOB horse. Bahadur looked like a non stayer but he has more 1m6-2m handicaps in him this summer. Nahraan was poor, maybe fitness, maybe ground too quick. His Longchamp form suggests he will be winning more races and will have other days.
