It’s November and therefore time for more ‘monthly’ trainers. As always, this is ‘Venetia’ time, but Fergal makes an appearance also…
Before that… my Sept/Oct jumps angles did ok. Many places and with a bit more luck it could have been even better.
I think they ended up: 8/44, 20p, -0.52 BFSP. 12 horses 2nd/3rd.
Neil Mulholland was the star of the show: 5/23, 8p, +11 BFSP.

Those two will do for this month. The Venetia angle is a standing dish here in recent years and with any luck can repeat last year’s success. Fergal is new to the ‘monthly trainers’ jumps roster, but those stats above are solid enough. It’s a time of year he does well with his younger, less exposed, horses. November really does stand out against all other months of the year with said angle, and I suspect he likes prepping them early and striking, before the racing gets even more competitive and maybe before deep winter ground comes into view. A repeat of 2021 will do just fine!
