    my picks.
PRIDE Of AMERICA E/W lightly raced 3yr old been over to france and ran a decent race last time out. last uk ride trip to far and back at a mile today which should suit. fairlty unexsposed and may have a bit more to come.

MAX VEGA 12/1 well down the field in the derby when last seen. horse likes cut in the ground. 2 good performance last in the softer stuff including a very nice win in the zetland stakes (group 3). reproducing that form would put him in contention.

no c4-5-6 list today but a few of horses i noted down.
13:00 newmarket megallan. gosden trained has derby entry. noted for the owners colours
(A E Oppenheimer) we dont see that often over here

    good luck today everyone 🙂

  3. Hi peeps got to be quick again.

    14:25 Newbury
AFAAK 1pt win 4/1 gen ( top jock, worthy favourite, form impressive, one to beat on speed and RPR)
JAHBATH 1pt win 13/2 (value of race, by no means pacesetter for fav, good form, could surprise, good speed also)

    15:15 Newmarket
ENDOWED 1pt win 7/1 gen (wind op, 2yo form impressive, jockey in form, trainer does well with these type of horses)
UGO GREGORY 1pt win 8/1 gen (thrown in at bottom of hcp, stable coming into form, value of race, rpr quite good also, bit of an unkown, but, value)

    15:35 Newbury
THREAT 1pt win 11/2 gen (classy individual, needs to rekindle form, dropped in class, value at prices)
SURF DANCER 1pt win 7/1 gen (improving 3yo, trainer at the course form, if the fav and threat falter this fella should win)

As always, hope all horses and jockeys come back safe and sound and good luck with whatever you select today.

    1. Threat is in the sales at the end of this month. Perhaps there is something up with him and they are trying to get shot of? But why would they then run him here? I am against him anyway but we shall see.

      1. Hannon’s quote (bearing in mind they’ve thought he would have great chances every race so far. The last few words probably explain the sales entry…..

”I don’t think he ran too badly in the July Cup last time where he was close to the pace before getting short of room at a crucial stage and I’m not saying he would’ve won but may of finished a little bit closer. We aren’t ruling out sprint trips again but 7 furlongs could end up being his optimum and on what he shows at home I have no doubt the raw ability and talent is still there, so with that in mind I’m pretty hopeful he can run a much better race here. Pat has ridden him in plenty of work so knows the horse well. It’s D Day for him, really.”

  4. with nothing standing out as any sort of value this side of the Irish Sea i’m off to the emerald isle for hopefully some big price chances.
1-55. War Hero 18-1, back on the aw after some pretty poor runs on turf, all 4 wins have come here and even though probably better over 7f thought it worth a go at the price. £3 ew
4-15. A couple in this look interesting Sky Seven 25-1 and Tandem 20-1, both have won here on this surface in the past and below last winning marks. £2 ew on both
6-45. Mandarin Monarch, won some ew money on him lto when 2nd @40-1 so will have another shot, hopefully the 8 left in will go off. Bugger as i write this the favourite has dropped out so just £1 win @ 16-1
7-45. Flindt 33-1, noticed he won in this going and distance on my birthday last year so a silly £1 ew

  5. Ah Overwrite… You may get paid 1st past post but I’ll be shocked if he’s not chucked out there. Bugger. That interference prob has cost the winner. Still, a good bet, but think officially at least that will be a loser.

    1. That was Unlucky, may have hung left if stick was in the other hand, one of those and well done on that assessment Josh, spot on at end of day. Me, I’ll lick my wounds and wait for the jumps in Ireland.

      1. Well I had £2 e/w on it and after I posted this morning forgot about it. Wondered where the money had come from in my account. Was a nice suprise. 🙂

      1. Yep luck of the draw.. Ma few paid out, some didn’t, some refunded. A nice return if lucky enough but sadly can’t be officially declared this end.
