The Flat 2020

(101 tips/16 wins/34 places (inc wins) /+81.35 points, advised/+73.85 Betfair SP)

No tips on Sunday.  Ah a mediocre Saturday… A decent day for Trianer profiles and the H horses, the two Bin Suroor winners leaving me pondering, not close enough tipping wise. That’s the game. Enjoy your Sunday. I’ll get Mondays post up on Sunday, it my birthday Monday so I’ll probably take it off! I want to have a look at Kevin Stott for a Micro Monday post that will be a day late on Tuesday, of I find anything of note.

  1. ITV races part 1.
3-10. Aloha Star 14-1 4 places sky(if all 10 stay in) 16-1 3p most places, can’t help but think this would be half the price if an O’Brien horse, yard has been out of form but did have a winner and a third yesterday and form is comparable to anything else in the race could be the value of the day.
3-40. Speak In Colours is a class act and can defy top weight currently 9-2 only needs to ease a bit for an ew shot , Glen Shiel is an interesting contestant a winner at 3-1 at Newcastle last week and at 8-1 i’ll have a small ew punt.

  2. ITV racing part 2.
1-55. Watchable 7-2 looks to improve on 2nd earlier this week and i’ll have a small win bet, i was going to put up Tanasoq as a ew bet who was 14’s at the time but is now 9-1 and value may well have gone but i’ll keep an eye on the market.
2-30. Muscika 5-1 4 places looks a ew bet that covers itself but i thought Bossipop @ 11-1 might be worth taking a chance on.

    1. nothing at Salisbury so that’s it for the ITV racing, recap with stakes and prices
      3-10. Aloha Star 1pt ew @ 14-1 4p (silly £1 ew bubbles on ice @66-1)
3-40. Speak In Colours 1pt win @9-2 , Glen Shiel 1/4 pt ew
      1-55. Watchable 1/2 pt win @7-2, Tanasoq 1/4 pt ew @8-1
      2-30. Muscika 1pt ew @5-1, Bossipop 1/2 pt ew @11-1
      all at bog.

  3. as always these are not tips just my thoughts and opinions
fridays c3+ had 1 winner and a second
    the c4,5,6 list had 2 winners, seconds, 2 3rds
all weather fared better with 6 winners 5 seconds 1 3rd highlight being my brother mike sp20/1
both my picks are still running.

    todays c3+ video replay list.
    13:40 happy power
14:15 well done fox / mr kiki / poets dance
    14:50 indie angel
15:25 beat the bon / duke of hazard / motakhayyel

    16:20 first winter / barysnikov

13:55 watchable / duke of firenze / indian sounds
    14:30 bossipop / muscika / swisslerious
    16:10 prince eiji

    my picks
MR KIKI got into a spot of bother last time out but looked to be there abouts when saddle slipped.
battled well to win the time before. up 4lb for that win so should there at the end of the race.

BEAT LE BON E/W on last years form good enough to win this. probably needed the run last time out and not to shabby run in australia the time before
whether he can show some of last years form is to be seen and the price 12/1 reflects that. but if he runs to his form last year 12/1 is generous.

DUKE OF FIENZE battle of the oldies watchable looked like he won the other dat and ooking back at the replay still looks like he won he was 14/1 that day
and is much shorter today so no value. the much younger indian sounds may just be to good but the other oldie duke of firenze look to be in fine fettle.
8/1 looks to be much better value.

    as always good luck 🙂

If you are looking at Kevin Stott angle for Monday would it be possible to look at the T/J combo with Kevin Ryan also? Thanks in advance.

    1. Hi Mike,

I’ll be looking on Tuesday, but yep i’ll go through all the usual factors in HRB(a fair few I dive into) and see what jumps out. He’s in effect stable jockey for Kevin Ryan I think – so far you can just back them blind but it will be interesting to see where they do particularly well , where he does well esp dist/tracks say, and indeed who else up north is starting to use him/what bookings may be significant. He’s clearly very talented which is always a good foundation. I’ll highlight was I deem to be of use, which is always subjective, but we shall see what I can find.
