  1. 815 Escalade – Is S’Mark trying to give Kaia Ingolfisland (no, I haven’t made that up!) a first winner?
    Down from C3 and conditions look suitable on pedigree.

  2. No joy on Monday 0/3.

    Tuesday selections.

    12.15 Southwell, Youracert;
    1.20 Southwell, Mr Mafia;
    2.55 Southwell, Rhythm Is A Dancer;
    4.10 Bath, Camouflaged.

    Good luck Martin

  3. Some video replay thoughts on higher class races today.
    5:50 right action/prompting/Erich Bloch

    1:35 Mia mento/delicate this lord/Grisons

    1:20 as you like/knockrobin
    2:55 hottab/goodbye dancer

    Good look everyone

  4. Just an aside Josh and only if you’ve got the time and have the answer, why are Coral no longer on Oddschecker?

    1. I believe they were not willing to pay the fee – I assume it’s pricey enough to be advertised on Oddschecker (owned by Flutter entertainment group I think) – GVC which owns Ladbrokes, Coral and Betdaq – decided not to renew it seems. I think they’ve done this once before and were back within a month.
      Maybe its something else but I assume a business decision for some reason.
      They’re still listed on RP odds comparison tab for each race, and i’ll have to start using that also! No idea if the feeds of prices are as close to ‘real time’ as you can get.

      1. I do a fair bit of work on Oddschecker, testing prices available. There are a number of sites where the prices on screen are not available.
        Such powerful bookmakers must do their homework and come to the judgement that it is not worthwhile paying the fee to coax in punters on the site.

        1. No problem, part of my day is checking comments to see what’s happening / if any questions / queries etc 🙂

  5. My stats based selection today

    6.50 Ayr Mr Wagyu 10/1 coral

    John Quinn Ayr 4yo+ 7/38 +14
    Jason Hart Ayr 4yo+ 12/79 +43
    Quinn/Hart Total 4yo+ 39/240 +93

    Trainer in fine form and horse is c+d winner

    Poets Magic 5.15 would also fit criteria but is half the price at 9/2

  6. 800 I like Bavardages who has improvement to come on soft turf, both sides of the pedigree expressing that as a preference, so the news abt the times y’day and the forecast favour the MJ improver.

  7. Congrats on continuing your good run Josh…can I borrow your pin!!!…

    Ascot list runner:
    12.30. Bath Bright Armor.

    No selections to day…did fancy the Golden Unicorn to give Bright Armor a bit of competition now a non runner and thought Right Proud may be better than the 50/1 odds and a small e/w was contemplated but no bet now as there may be another non runner making for no e/w value and if another shortie is withdrawn then the value will be sucked out of the price. No bet. No other races worth getting involved in today so see what tomorrow brings. All the best with whatever you are backing today.

  8. Ayr 7:25 Emma cappelen

    Ayr 8:00 John Jasper/bavardages/royal big night

    Ripon 5:00 wild flower
