  1. Hay 12-55. Finniston Farm 50-1 4 places bfsb, maybe the change of yard to Sophie Leech signals a hurdling future but it might have sparked a bit of life back into him after a year of very poor runs, saying that he did win over c&d just over a year ago off 93 and all 3 career wins have come at Haydock, has come 2nd twice in a c1 and c2 one of those with today’s jockey on board. I had him at about 16-1 so the 50’s looked to big so just a tiny ew just in case he’s back to anywhere near his best.

  2. ON THE BRIDLE

    No bet

After all that sunshine April/May fantastic ground for racing gd,gdfm, firm, now racing resumed rain Haydock already gd/sft what a great shame.
    Colin

Sunday picks – just the three:

    3.35 Nkt, Millisle 4/1.

    Good luck Martin

    Today’s l31 ew
    H 12:55 country
    H 5:35 iletyougonow
    L 5:10 roundabout magic
    N 1:50 first in line

    Good luck everyone

  5. Some decent cards at HQ and Haydock today wen i flicked through
Dont have the time to have a go as id like ☹️

in normal betting mode id maybe be having a small one on a Communique Safe Voyage double, just being too good for those races and both with course form, Safe Voyage in particular
Always concerns first time out tho

Sorry its a bit late as well Colin but im quite sure there should be no soft in going description at Haydock. im up here and i know its a bad rep but there’s surley not been enough rain to make it soft im only 20 mins away

    1. Yea, I never know with Haydock. They had 16mm on Friday and some further rain apparently. I wasn’t sure if it would be good, GS or much harder work. In the end that uncertainty put me off Country in 12. 55 from Trainer profiles list, but he was most interesting on that list to my eyes I thought, if fit and if handling conditons… And I’ve got two very wrong so far. He will no doubt bolt up now and is shortening. But yep tricky in early weeks esp with those that don’t have a winning/run well record fresh.
      Anyway, GL with those stabs.

      1. i understand everyones fustrations with Haydock
But ground is still hard round where i am
id be baffled if its any soft in it there today

        1. Hmm well even though its Haydock you do have to trust clerk when they tell you how much rain they’ve had and what they think ground is. How much we trust that info and then what we do with it is different. The times of that first race, while slowly run to eye, suggest rain has got in.

  6. Had a look at 1.05 Lingfield and the 1.25 Nmkt.

    1.05: Spark Fury/Amazali e/w for a bit of value
1.15. Nmkt. Modern News win only…value Barber of Saville e/w and Rainbow Fire e/w…obvious dangers are Future Vision and Noble Dynasty…probably a race to watch for future winners…the latter horse cost £3.6million and is running in a class 5 for 4 grand so work that one out! Gd lck with whatever you are backing today. silver

  7. Last one for today Haydock 3.50…… shame there are only 7 runners …think this is between Monza City and Golden Melody…just prefer Monza City on pedigree and trainer stats for win only bet. All the best .Silver
