    write ups in morning.

now the last time Harry was here on board he won really convincingly, never really went on to do much after that, so, can only think they have brought him back here for a bit of a confidence boost, he does hold up off the pace, but the run in here is long and straight, so, don`t be worried if he`s at the back coming into the straight.
I couldn`t believe the price of this one, think if you rule his LTO run out he`s cracking value, some top class form and should be nearer his stablemate in terms of price, Miss Andrews is a clever jockey and she will have a couple of tricks up her sleeves turning in also, think this flatter track will suit and hopefully the real SOTG turns up.

Top class form and i think this one has a top class future in front of him, think the long straight and flat or slightly undulating is key to this one, he doesn`t like ups and downs , Warwick and Cheltenham have not favoured him, but, Chepstow that has a long run in played to his strengths and he won twice there last year. Dickie on board also will steer this one to victory and the 9 to 10/1 on offer is value.
He does look as though he is progressing and this will be the biggest test to date a full blown run at a clip Hurdle race at Newbury is not for the faint hearted, so, he`ll either come on the bridle, or, be out the back of the t.v. value around 9/10 to 1.

As always good luck with whatever you select today and hope all horses and jockeys come back safe and sound.

      1. Wow. Well done Stewart. Heding back into form. Called it perfectly although he couldn’t have left it much later!

      2. Nice pick Stewart put it up on my Elite line and have no idea Oldgrangewood won that truely amazing performance!

  3. Hi guys, any musings on the all weather at Kempton this afternoon would be very much appreciated. My daughter is going there for her works bash and would like to do a bit of bookie bashing at the same time!
    Many thanks, Tom

    1. Hi Tom

If you head over to the free post later this pm you will no doubt see the ramblings of George B and me. We had two winners yesterday, 7/1 and 16/1 when advised, hope lightning strikes twice!

      1. Thankyou Mark, will do. I noticed those two nice touches yesterday, well done to the pair of you……the beach boys are rocking!!
        Many thanks, Tom.

  4. Colin Tizzard – just to follow up after his 50/1>20/1 November winner for the aggrieved – and the odds – more for info- that nov angle was 0/31,5p 14s+ SP before this year – and just looking at all his novice hurdles – SP 20/1>33/1 .. 4/137,21p,
40/1+ SP : 0/151,7p . Alas, just one of those really.

  5. Josh i got 11.5 on Gala Ball but in to 8.8 now and doesn’t look like going off anywhere near 11.0 should i have backed it ? should i cash out and take the profit ?

    1. If you follow S1 then the technically correct course of action was to place the bet with the min odds BFSP requirement, so that it would only be matched at the odd if hitting at least 11.00. On morning odds as above it wasn’t an S1 as was under 10s on morning odds. If you’ve already backed it id just let it ride but up to you.
In welcome post link one of the videos takes a quick look at how to set min odds in betfair etc.

      1. 13:50 Newbury
        Gala Ball – Win
        Betfair Bet ID 1:18***7219888 | Matched: 29-Nov-19 08:51:01 Back 11.50
i’m going to let it ride but as you can see i was matched at 11.5 at 8-51 this morning

        1. I’m not disputing that’s the price you got matched at but that’s irrelevant, in terms of when a horse is a S1 and when it isn’t. it’s either an S1 (black bold symbol) next to horse IF if is 10/1+ on price I put next to the horse around 8am (has a G1/G3 obv) and if it’s under that, as per Gala Ball who was 8s , then you place a min 11.00 bet in Betfair SP, which will only get matched at the off if the BFSP is 11.00+ . As per video in welcome post. They are the only two price rules and have always been that way.

Betfair markets dont’ mean much at that time of the day etc as so little liquidity, bar for big big handicaps etc.

  6. With Stewart on Spirit of the games today, seemed a big price. Kalashnikov is good but is he that much better carrying top W giving 7lbs to SOTG, i dont think so. Think a bit of a sign aswel that its backed up fairly quickly after pulling up they must fancy it to show better today/ come on for that

  7. Also was getting into the Ladbrokes trophy last night
Hot race obvs but backed Daklondike only small but Coral 33/1 better than the rest think it could have a bit in hand, impressive at Haydock on softer grnd. Few strange runs, would hope he doesn’t refuse hahaaa, but 33’s is big

  8. Hi Tom

The assorted ramblings of erstwhile silly boys is now on the free post. Hope your daughter finds a winner or two.
