  1. 2pm Windsor Fox Fearless
Pretty poor fare tomorrow, between the sunset and the dawn of the flat and jumps
Karl Burke has a fairly decent strike rate with 3yr olds at windsor
    6/18
Horse has had a break after ordinary season and yet to trouble the judge but might have strengthened up a bit.
Its SDS only ride at the venue before heading to wolverhampton, but wouldn’t put much store in that, has one for the owner there too so they probably have something faster than train on offer.
At 12/1 might be worth a small bet
Hugo Palmer does very well with 2yr olds at wolverhampton.has Rushcutter bay 5.55 untouchable beauty 7.25 but at 6/1 and 2/1 might be ones to sit out

  2. Josh if you don’t think i should have posted this please delete.
whilst checking my betting accounts yesterday i went to my paypal account to check on subscription payments and found a payment to Elite Betting Syndicate of £46-80 8/10/19 i do not subscribe to their service and have never received any emails from them with tips or anything else for that matter, i think i might have had a trial with them last year. if you have had a trial with them previously it might be worth checking if a payment has been taken.

    1. hmm, that sounds very odd. You’d have had to give permission for them to take that at some point, however sneaky they may have been about it. But i’d dispute it with Paypal and they may help sort it – they don’t like dodgy vendors, esp if complaints start coming in etc. Also email them and ask for a refund etc.
I operate a system of automated payments, and obv sometimes people forget and had wished to cancel etc, hence why i’ve always offered no questions asked refunds for accidental payments etc – hopefully they may have the same attitude if you message them! 🙂
      Josh

      1. i have received i reply from them now but with very sketchy info saying they have been emailing me at an old address, this is my reply:
Hi thank you for your quick reply, i will try your service even though i don’t remember ever agreeing to do so, basically because i can’t be arsed to go through the refund process, but i would point out that this has been my email for over 2 years now and is always the email i give out so i believe my subscription should start today not the billing date as i have never received anything to date . if this is acceptable to you please let me know.
        all the best….Martin.

thought i might as well give them a go as the money has already been paid i can always block future payments through paypal.

  3. I am too busy at present to look into these, but what about:

On the flat for the future: Sir Mark Prescott horse that run up a sequence, such as Timoshenko as a recent example? What do we look for in the early days? How do they start off? Is there a pattern? Also Willie Mullins handicappers but not the first string, such as Stratum.

Onto National Hunt – I am sure I have seen this previously, trainers who had a poor previous season due to illness etc handicap marks for the coming season. Anthony Honeyball for instance. Can we take advantage of favourable marks in the handicap. Or the Bowen’s in handicap chases in Wales? Paul Nicholls chasers aged 4 to 7 in Saturday handicaps?

    Just some ideas.

    1. Would like to know stats on the Irish runners who are declared as reserves, then run? After yesterdays Willie Mullins easy winner I do believe some trainers aim for these races, knowing full well their charges will sneak in at a light weight and romp home!

      1. Hmm, I’m not sure where you’d find those. Kevin Blake or Tony Keenan may no doubt have some stats on those.
Of course there’s no fear in backing them or tipping them as money back if they don’t get it, as a NR.
Cabaret just goes to show you why shouldn’t pigeon hole horses as to ground, esp lightly races ones. On ‘form’ soft was a complete unknown as never run on it, and sounds like Townend said they didn’t really know if she’d handle it. But she’s relished it, and amazing to see Mullins improve one so much from Skelton. But he’s a Genius.
        Josh

        1. Sporting Life may be a help but need to trawl by day/meet. Membership might allow an easier way, otherwise you can go back to all past cards and use fast cards for a meet to see any reserves that have run.

  4. ELITE BETS
Josh feel free to take down but had to mention that having said a few times on here that the previous two years in Oct/Nov there had been a 40/1 winner both years, this year so far had the 2nd in the Cesarewitch at 50/1 and BFSP 150.55.
Sadly so near yet so far!
    Colin

    1. You could’ve had 24.00 for BFSP place Colin. I admire your cahunnas for going win only but for me a 50/1 shot should always be an ew bet. Cheers.

  5. TIP TOP

  6. Hi Colin, didn’t follow you across with the Elite bets but sounds as if I made a mistake. How have the Elite bets been going since you went commercial as if they are still doing well how would I get on to them. Gordon

    1. Hi Gordon

      Please contact Josh about joining.

Been a dodgy month so far but 2 winners today with 1 to run so guarenteed to be in the black at end of play today, also had one backed from 16/1 to 5/1 which did lose so the stable got this one wrong!
      Colin
