A decent win from Luck of The Draw 9s>8s – if you want to see what a horse with a winning attitude looks like, watch him after the last. He was well handicapped, improving for age, going back RH and the step up in trip, chased home by ‘summer jumpers’. And he’s now 3/3 on his seasonal return. He won’t be 10s or so NTO but I suspect he’ll be hard to stop if jumping like that again. Maybe they’ll look for something back at Carlisle. They may try him LH again, but it could be he ‘has’ to go this way round.

Terry The Fish… well he was poor, having taken up a promising early position. He didn’t look interested, and was beat a long way before fitness was a question. He clearly doesn’t wear headgear to look good – I suspect they’ll try blinkers again but he has a question against him, however he should have a RH 3 mile chase in him somewhere, one day.

  1. hope i might of found a nice little Sunday patent at Epsom
    3-35. Alfred Boucher 5-1
    4-10. Gas Monkey 4-1
    5-15. Swift Approval 7-2
    £1 win patent

  2. Hi Josh and Stewart, just a quick thumbs up on your winner yesterday. I follow both of you and double my stake when you both have the same selection. Happy days and thank you guys. Keep up the great work!

    1. Hi Tom, happy days indeed! 🙂
I’m pleased with how the chase picks are going, and hopefully I can keep it up. Well, the ROI since late Feb with those, inc the test, has been a tad silly, but it won’t be for the want of trying! It’s nice to be enjoying the game again, and to be excited about attacking such races, and to provide a profitable section in what’s been a rather tough year. On we march. Thanks for your support as always.

        1. Hi Chris, the figures are detailed in section 2 above, updated after each tip. They are both now being recorded horse by horse in a spreadsheet also Inc BFSP

So, as per above in section 2… Since 14th July when started…

          14/07/19>: 4/21,11p, +14.3

Thats to available prices, min 3 main bookies when posted, monitored for 30 mins after posting etc. All 1 point win

It’s been selective enough so far but should pick up in coming weeks. But I’d take a repeat of the figures above every 21 bets right now.

    2. Thanks Tom, to be fair Josh is the Master in all this, but, being selective is definitely key, there is no way you can have winners all the time, or, believe you can study all races everyday all the time! The Irish angle I love also, the bookies over here seem to run scared as soon as JP or one of the other big boys have a punt, it`s really quite funny to watch oddschecker going all blue over a G Elliott or JP runner!!? Value is key above everything else though!! It`s the old adage of a coat for £40 being on sale down the road for £25, so long as you are getting value, the profit will come!!

  3. Curragh 2.20.

    Pablo Diablo/ Legal Thriller e/w

Louisiana, Mining Warrior and Jungle Cove all have good chances in what is a moderate affair on ground that is described as heavy or yielding or soft or yielding to soft depending what sites you read…so let’s say the going is problematical at best and going descriptions totally inaccurate at worst….the truth is somewhere in between but given that the prices on offer are pretty dire except for the two at bigger prices and the selections are based on pedigree alone…favs are 47% and the speed of the others mentioned are nothing exceptional so the e/w options hopefully provide a bit of value in the uncertainty…Miss Molly T may well improve but would want bigger than 12/1 to get involved so play if if you feel so inclined in what is a trappy race.

Curragh 2.50 win only Love Locket.

Closely matched with Shehreen and would not be surprised if this horse won a second time but hoping the selection will improve enough from the debut run to come home ahead…..Favs 34%…at 5/1 the pair you could dutch them and still come out with a small profit if either won and were placed….but small stakes only if playing and given the ground caution advised….Tim put up Shereen and a bet if 10.00 on Betfair so if you are following the tips then Love Locket is the choice win only.

Did look at the 4.00 at the Curragh but no value…will think Innisfree will win but cannot back at the short price….favs 44%….Gold Maze may be the one to chase the fav home. Gd lck if backing anything today

    1. Pablo does win which was gratifying and at a decent price…..Love locket and Shereen both disappointing as was Legal Thriller but a small profit from the selections when taken into consideration the losses on the selections that came nowhere…will take that everyday of the week…
