2.My Tips (Daily Chase Tips/Jumps Festival Tips)

Daily Chase Tips: Main (2019: 19/94, 33p +48.8) Jumps Festival Tips (2018:+143; 2019: 6/99,27p, -45.8,)

None, no races of choice.

Daily Chase Tips: Test (14/07/19>: 3/19,10p, +6.3)

(handicap chases, 16-22f, C4+)

2.00 Worc – Robin Des Mana – 1 point win – 33/1 (bet365) 22/1 (BV) 20/1 (gen) UP 14/1, well I think he’s just fully regressed on that evidence, not a horse i’ll be backing again i doubt – didn’t run much of a race at all, it was a wild poke of sorts hence the price in a small field, but annoying not to get any sort of run for my money. Moving on, swiftly!

that’s all for the test tips, as of 08.02, write up/video…

In short:-

  • His chase wins when with Elliot were in soft/heavy, and he’s the only horse in the race with winning form in heavy (more rain expected), and over fences in soft/heavy. The rest have serious questions in testing ground, some more unknown who may get away with it, or enjoy it, but I wouldn’t want to be with anything else at the odds.
  • 5 days ago the yard had their first rules winner since March 18. I doubt they have many horses and i think they are more PtP focused. But still, a positive.
  • He’s a course winner over hurdles, his mark is plummeting and it was only 10 starts ago that Elliot was running him in G2s off marks in the 130s.
  • Of most importance, potentially… the Tongue Tie returns, for the first time for connections. All his best recent winning form for Elliot has been with the TT and it ‘could’ make a dramatic difference.
  • He is only 8, his 14th chase start. He could well just be gone at the game, but there’s method to my madness at the price and I thought he was worth a poke. Time will tell! 🙂

  • Le Don De Vie / Korcho
  • Lord North
  • Petrus

Shortlist

Hmm, i’m not sure how useful these will be, as the 15/15 stats leave plenty… if I look at a profile of…

Not top 5 in weights / age 3-6 / Top 2 at least once last 3/ Not run G1 level / Same class or up 1/ 26< career runs / 2-17 handicap wins / 3-8 runs this season / 2-6 career wins / 1+ hncp win / ran non major or G2 LTO / Hncp LTO / Not 4yo+ race LTO / did not run 6-10 days ago…

That leaves  11/105, 25p in the last 15 years…

Good Birthday / Le Don De Vie T/ Jazeel / Beringer / Chance / Korcho T / Cockalorum

      • well after my selection in the 2-15 was declared a n/r iv’e had another look and also one more.
Haydock 2-15. Bombero 13-2 bog sky 1/2 pt ew, up 3lb for last win and bombed out on the AW lto , performs in heavy ground and has won over a bit further.
Worcester 3-45. Miss Tynte 10-1 bog b365 1/2 pt ew, negatives up in class and 13lb from last win, positives will relish the going where a lot of the others are unproven thought it was worth a punt at the price.

  • Seems your request fell on deaf ears there Josh. Guess some people have no manners.

    • ha, maybe! Doesn’t take that much on the machine early morning when only 3k in the pot to drive a price down, esp when people happy to be matched at lower etc. With any luck it may be some ‘proper money’ and connections /others may fancy him also, but there we go. 20s+ did look silly but the early market can sometimes be no indication at all , so we shall see if he walks later – albeit their winner 5 days back was 28/1 so I won’t mind what it does really.
