Really Super... update for those interested… she was put up 9lb to 130 over hurdles, which was fair enough. The team have decided that now is the right time to send her chasing. She’s been schooled over fences and time will tell whether it’s the making of her – the fact her best hurdling has always been over Worcester’s fixed brush hurdles would give us some hope. The UK Mares chasing division is generally lacking in depth (bar the odd exception – Lady Buttons/La Bague Au Roi) and there’s some decent prize money to be had, often in small fields races etc. Hopefully she takes to it and she runs as if she’ll get 3m in time. The current plan is a beginners chase at Worcester on the 16th Sept. And we will go from there. I’ll dream of her becoming a 140s chaser. Amy has always thought she’d win a listed mares chase, so here’s hoping. And of course if she does progress, and stays sound etc, they’ll be a Festival race for her in 2021! 🙂

write ups to follow, just wanted to get those up for those who can get early prices.

    1. ELUSIVE DON
He was mighty unlucky to meet one too good LTO and he now has an easier task on his hands with this one off a lower weight, hence the reason everyone is all over this as 12/1 even 10/1 is value but, only just, any of that single figure nonsense and I`m off..haha. In all fairness if he can`t win this then i think he may just be one of those cruising horses, that have a high cruising speed that can bring them into races of this nature, but, find little once the button is pressed, we shall see.
      MISTER EDDMAN
I know I can hear you all saying, “He`s in love with Rachel Blackmore!”, well, it is close between her and Bryony as to who is the better of the two and if I could I`d take both of them…into a race of course, nothing else!? This one looks like he has been laid out for a race like this, small trainer just come into form, RB in the plate, back after a break, top weight in a hcp and fto in a hcp also. Market support is just coming and i bet it goes off nearer the 4/1 / 9/2 i had it at. Done nothing wrong and that Downpatrick win was really cleverly done, so, expect improvement.
      BYE BYE O BYE
Anther RB horse, (he has gone mad i can hear you all say) , well this one i had in at 4/1, so, for me the more it drifts the better it gets. LTO it went chasing and before that was a competitive hcp hdle at Galway, so, both runs can be forgiven, prior to that though was in blistering form at Limerick and Kilbeggan, if going off those races I would have him nearer the head of the market and I think the booking of RB is significant, she can switch horses off and just sit on them and let them do their own thing, yes the horse is 12 yo, but, has a feather weight on his back compared with what he has been racing with and may just shock again!
      FRED THE FOOT
Form horse in the race, had him in at 10/3, so, 6/1 is just value, he really looked foot perfect in the race LTO, apart from the 2nd to last hurdle blunder and I`m hoping that was him more speeding up rather than anything else? He has one thing that maybe some of the others don`t and that is fighting spirit, you know by now i always like that in a horse and when the chips are down i expect this one still to be boxing at the end!

As always hope all jockeys and horses come back safe and sound and good luck with whatever you select today!

    2. Shocking that, apologies, these things happen eh…!?!? Note to self, don’t get cocky and think you can win them all!
