  1. Copied from yesterday’s post regarding BOG.

Colin, I record the prices you put up then the SP, so it’s based on the better of those two prices. Sometimes you get 3 or 4 points difference in the odds, so it doesn’t take that many to mount up to 30pts.

I’ll do some more checks and give you the breakdown.

    1. Hi Colin, I’ve found that you had 24 winners that drifted out from your advised odds. The highest 5 drifters, between 2pts and 4.5pts drift, account for 15pts additional profit. Another 7.5pts come from 5 that drifted by 1.5pts, the remainder from the other 14 winners that drifted between 0.17pts and 1.25pts to give a total of 29.88pts extra from BOG. That includes today’s results.

      1. Hi Ken
Once again thank you for keeping records.
With you now so the difference would not be so large when taking the early price and not BOG, afraid had two late nights dancing and feel tired after two 4ams,not drinking been on water only, and the weight is dropping off, for water on my last 10 visits to town, including my 65th friday night, amazing what you do when after a young lady! maybe no so young!
        Colin.

  3. Morning,

We have a decent race at Tramore today, so, let`s have a go eh?
    16:10 Tramore
    MEGALOMANIAC 8/1 1pt win gen
Rachel Blackmore takes the ride today and this one should be up with the pace from the off, he has already won here and course form is vital around this sharp, undulating course, (think they go round 3 times in all, enough to make a human dizzy). Lto HDBHead sent him to Galway for a hurdle race after saying he would be Novice Chasing, he now turns up here in a Hcp Chase, so, the pot must be enough to temp him. 8/1 value, considering the favourite (who I feel doesn`t like this course) is nearing 10/3?
    OCTOBER REVOLUTION 10/1 1pt win
We will have a saver on this old boy, think he may be able to win off his feather weight and has finished 3rd in the race in 2017 off a higher weight than today, (on really soft ground also), thrown in on old form and showed no signs of slowing down with a convincing win LTO. I know there are a couple of negatives, age, ground, hold up horse, but they rode him prominent LTO and if the same tactics are employed here, he should go close off that light weight.

As always hope all horses and jockeys come back safe and sound and good luck with whatever you select today.

    1. Great pick Stewart. Unlike the last time it really did feel that was never in doubt. I suspect could have won by further.

    2. The notebook should most definitely be including the runner up in this, Demi Plie, feel he doesn`t like this course and if it`s not as sharp next time out, Downpatrick where he has won isn`t as sharp, loads of undulations, and an uphill finish, will look and see if there is anything else that he likes, might be something fairly obvious…

  4. Lambourn
    No bet
Ed Walker has 2 runners in the 3.30 Pontrfract with mixed messages about both
Maygold drawn 10 of 11 cannot see it winning and doubtful for a place
Sunday Star decent draw in stall 5 and i have backed her a couple of times this season, will have a look nearer the race time but cannot see me backing her today.
You have to ask a race which is worth £33,612 why Andrea Altzeni or Gerald Mosse are not in the plate when between them they have ridden her 9 times out of 10.
    Colin.

    1. For my analysis purposes I am including Maygold, 3.30 Pontefract, for Ed Walker from an each way perspective.. A big price but he is positive enough, although the horse is significantly up in class and there are doubts about the distance.

I can see why some would not want to back it.

  5. No free post today and so I am putting up and additional golf bet here – Czech Masters, Eric van Rooyen, 1 point each way at 11/1 Skybet, 3 places, 1/4 odds.

    Cheers martin
