Saturday’s Trends…

To note there won’t be any big race trends from me this weekend. There’s the Shergar Cup, limited to 10 runners a race, and no other big class 2 handicaps elsewhere that I can see. So, a week off on that front.

VIDEO

At the request of Colin a look at Charlie Hills… it’s a fairly lengthy one (well 30 mins)…. the black screen disappears after 1m 18 seconds, no idea why it does that… a few interesting nuggets… in this video I research from scratch so you’re best pausing/noting down anything of interest… the Dane O’Neill stats are interesting, as are various other pointers inc C1/2 races…

    1. You must have been writing that just as I noticed. I’ve a big bday on Sat, I must have been subconsciously trying to slow down time!! 🙂

        1. Haha I wish. Add 9. But I suppose that’s still young! 🙂 Not sure where the last decade has gone. Life begins at 30, that’s my new motto!

          1. Long way to go Josh i am 65 week tomorrow and will be down town tonight dancing away, so you are still a young whipper snapper, lucky you.
            Many happy returns for Saturday.

  1. Lambourn
Well Dreamweaver went off favourite for the 7.15 finishing close to 5 lengths off the winner in 4th of 7 runners the step up 2 grades proved too much.
Said on here before trainers do sometimes think their horses are better than they are, as was the case with Richard Hughes 2 runners the day before which i backed and he got it wrong in both cases, and in one of his runners race Prescott had a odds on favourite which i indicated doubtful stayer having only tried the distance once and finishing 8 lengths off the winner, for which Colins bets gave the winner.

3.20 Thirsk Trouble Shooter BOG 11/2

    No bet today

Jamie Osbourne fancies Max’s Thunder 6.00 Newmarket only 2/1/ 5/2 he did mention that Mick Channon’s Walkonby fancied by him and is only 3/1.
Oisin Murphy in the car and he said he had good chance on
    7.10 Almost Midnight 7/2
    7.40 Maamora 2/1
Jockey giving a winner could be a first!!! will be interesting to see how Oisin’s mentions go for the future snipits from him.
Make of this what you will, for me will keep my powder dry for another day.
