Saturday Trends ‘Shortlists’
Ascot: The International
Trainers (21 years, with runners…)
- Raising Sand / Lush Life
- Makzeem / Blue Mist
- Lake Volta / Vale of Kent
- Admiralty / Burnt Sugar
- Zap
Trends Shortlist
Looking at 6yo<, OR not lower than LTO, had run 8f+, had run at Ascot, Not 4yo+ race LTO…
That leaves 9… Rip Orf / Makzeem / Fanaar (3yo) / Kaeso / Lush Life / Vale Of Kent / Alemaratalyoum / Island of Life / Zap
Those that carried 8-5-9-4, and had 4+ runs this season narrows that down to 6… Rip Orf / Kaeso / Lush Life / Alemaratalyoum / Island of Life (negs C1 LTO / 2 runs 90 days) / Zap
*
The SkyBet Dash
Trainers (15 years, with runners)
- Staxton /Flying Pursuit / Golden Apollo / Hyperfocus
- Growl / Brian The Snail / Paddy Power
Trends
Had ran over 6.5f+ in career, did not run over 5f LTO, 16/1< SP LTO….
Staxton / Golden Apollo / Muscika / Glenamoy Lad / Jawwaal
Running in a C2 LTO is a big positive… Staxton / Golden Apollo / Jawwaal
As per the stats the market has been a great guide, all winners in last decade sent off 12/1< SP.
Hopefully those pointers help you land on the winner or a nice priced place horse or three 🙂

Yesterday… not much to say there, it was rubbish all round. Maybe Super isn’t as good as I think she could be – i’d be annoyed if we ever ride her again like that in a small field, esp over that trip, and quite frankly you get what you deserve when not using a horse’s strengths – she’s jumped atrociously bar a couple, which in part was down to how slow they were going I think. The fact we never hit the front at any point I find hard to stomach but that’s racing. She’s been beaten by one who had a quicker turn of foot at a crucial stage who kept galloping. Her jockey won her that. With any luck we can find her a race where they go a stride or three quicker and it could be she needs further, albeit she didn’t quite have the same spark as 19 day ago. Still, she’s a trier and another placed effort.

section 1 ew L15.
basically the 4 best ew value bets from S1 imho.
Ascot 3-00. Lush Life @ 22/1
York 2-40. Jawwaal @ 16/1
Chester 3-10. Excessable @ 16/1
Lingfield 8-00. Flying Sakhee @ 17/2
Multiple Type: Lucky 15. 0.13 ew stake £3-90
well that was a waste of time both Lush Life and Excessable now n/r’s
Always the same when ground changes dramatically, you may as well rip the formbook up on the flat, bet there is more NRs to follow! On a lighter note, at least you can unearth a soft ground specialist at a nice price, that everyone will then back and the value goes…..on yer marks….get set….watch oddschecker and then you’ll know!
Watch for True North, 3.55 Newcastle. The Baronet may have him primed for this but only id he is backed.
Drifting like a barge!!
Thanks for the through the card Josh, much appreciated.
Hmmm, well that wasn’t as good as your last trip! But at least a winner of the last to limit some damage. Wasn’t close to many of those winners at all, thought had the Dash winner given how he loomed up but just ran out of gas. Hope you had a great day regardless.

BBBBOOOOMMMMM Where do I Live? SSSSSSS6666666666666666 Rausing Sand
ha, well they keep treading water – need to land on a handful of biggies but we live in hope!
Do not exactly know where you are coming from for this month win only they are 23.75 points up which in my view is outstanding, if you wish for me not to put them up let me know, and Elite is 32.625 points up this month and Colins bets had a 22/1 and 10/1 seconds and a winner at 4/1 R4 15p and over the past 7 to 10 days too many 2nd and 3rds.
??? Nige is referring to the S6 qualifier in section 1 Colin, Raising Sands, which you also kindly highlighted from your Lambourn quotes assessment etc. He does love that place and a bit of soft. Our discussion isn’t in relation to any of your postings 🙂
Apologies for Nige put S6 which is a postal code in Sheffiield so took it was a dig at Lambourn quotes, for it appeared below my Lambourn post so easy to misinterpret postings.
Cheers
Colin
No idea how you’d read a Boooom and a clear celebratory comment in that way even if it was a reply to your comment haha. but never mind. Moving on. I’m already looking forward to the next winner you post, that is a superb monthly return from those, top work.
Great tipping sir, from deepest darkest (and very wet today) Essex 🙂
