The week ahead…

On Tuesday I’ll pull together some stats pointers for the July Cup Meeting and decide which big Saturday handicap trends to highlight. They didn’t do too well at Haydock last weekend sadly.

  1. Hi Josh. I’m going to York races on Friday. If you get chance could you have a look through the card please? Thank you

    1. Hi Jamie, I’m sure that won’t be a problem, albeit I fear plenty of big field races haha. I’ll see what I can do. I’m sure theyll be a few pointers in the comments also with any luck. Best post a comment on Fridays post when it’s up to remind me 🙂

  2. Some of you boys must be serious big hitters as Jem Scuttle has lost half a point already!

    1. ha, in part may be volume, but also race type on AW , and more importantly the exchange – his price has been 6.2-6.4 on betfair since 8am – I was surprised bigger than 5s was around with 3 bookies, given how they like to align – they probably think any of us that have snaffled bigger than 5s are arbers! In theory 5s should hold as long as that betfair price doesn’t crash soon, but bigger still available. Doubt it took much at all for the 13/2 to go. He won’t be declared at 13/2 when he bolts up, unless he drifts back out 🙂

    P 4.15 – Beyond The Clouds on 2nd run @ 13/2
    B 6.40 – Kachumba on 5th run @ 9/4

    4.45Mecca’s Gift BOG 5/2
    4.45 Garrison Commander BOG 15/2
    6.40 Momentarily BOG 4/1
    7.40 Hedging BOG 3/1
    8.10 Princess Florence BOG 4/1
    5.00 Gold Fleece BOG 7/1
    5.00 Gold Arch BOG 6/1
8.50 Ali The Hunter BOG 14/1

  5. Lambourn
3.30 Wolverhampton Luscifer BOG 20/1 Richard Hughes
3.30 Wolverhampton Forus BOG 14/1 Jamie Osbourne
4.45 Starlight Red BOG 16/1 Charles Hills says won with a bit in hand last time, and should run well,
Charles did us proud again with a 7/2 winner from 2 bets.

      1. Martin i am but still accessing the trainers but have started keeping a record win only, however will start recording ew for the last two saturdays produced some decent placed efforts.
Very impressed with Charles Hills views, he must take after his mother for his father Barry would give nothing away more than likely tell the camera it could not win then bolts up.
Jamie Osbourne is another one love him for he put a brief video up from around the stables and he his very open and honest and he has the sarky humour which i enjoy and often use.

      2. Had another think it is difficult for they do not always come on at the same time and so feel it would be best for anyone interested to go on the website themselves and access them themselves, the four for the flat i take note of are
Charles Hills, Jamie Osbourne, Richard Hughes and Ed Walker and try to read between the lines, these four have decent sized strings so should be plenty of action.
Unable to commit myself to put them up everyday, but when have the time i will put them on the board.

        1. I can do something on it going forward on those four trainers in terms of recording selections at prices available and building a profit or loss record to win only. I will give it a go until end August and then report back. We can see where we go from there re any potential systems going forward. I will record them separately and pull them together as one.

  6. Nothing from me for this afternoon but maybe later. Will place an update on the TC page at 4.30
