Ascot ‘through the card’ selections

From the members’ post, as requested by one of them who is off racing. As always this is a relatively quick flick through, and sometimes I find 2/4 winners, sometimes none! But plenty of logic behind them all…

Ascot ‘through the card’

2.10 – Baddesley Prince 10/3 / 3/1

2.45 – Praeceps 5/1

3.20 – Volt Fact 4/1

3.55- Highway One O One 2/1

4.30 – tips in members’ post

5.05 – Peak To Peak

5.40 – referring to Darran Pearce’s preview … Virak to beat Arrears  1 point FC, Virak to beat Queen Olivia 1/2 point FC

Best of luck

  1. Haven’t put any bets up lately as I lost all my stats when my laptop drive went tits up and I found I hadn’t saved them to the cloud. What a T**T!
Anyway I’d been paper trading a flat system last season and have it all on hard copy so we’ll see how they go over the next few weeks.
I won’t put them figures up but they were profitable at win, e/w and bfsp.

    D 3.10 – Naadirr @ 12’s, the odd 14, 5 plcs if e/w

  2. For Colin – footie so i didn t want to post on the main. I watched Cov at Barnsley yesterday (i live there now) and it was a very good game. Young Thomas had a blinder – fastest player on the pitch (caused their defenders lots of problems) and his equalising Goal for 2-2 was brilliantly taken. Can see why Derby have given him a long contract. all the best John

    1. Hi John
Thanks for the insight on young Thomas, since the owner invested £100 million into Derby’s academy to bring it up to the highest standard on the level with both Manchester clubs etc.
It as taken 3 to 4 years but now their is abundance of young talent coming through Jayden Bogle 18 year played all season at right back in the first team, 19 year old Max Lowe playing season long loan at Aberdeen receiving great reviews and many more of the kids are on loan all over the UK.
Future certainly looks rosy and hopefully no more overpaid dross Butterfield springs to mind cost £4 million on £20,000 per week 4 year contract, last year loaned to Sheffield Wed who did not want him, last 6 months of his contract now on loan at Bradford and since his arrival they are bottom of Division 1.
Bayern Munich have got it right wanting to sign all our young English talent, which our wonderful foreign managers will not play.
Taken me many years to say that i look forward to the next England game, and wonder who will be the next kid Garath Southgate will play.
      Colin

  5. Although it was deserved we were a tad lucky. If yhe ref etc did their job properly then it would have saved my cuticles.
Surely Robertson has to be the player of the season whichever critea you use
