    3-45. Iskaberg Lane 6-1
    4-50. Moorlands Mist 20-1
    1/2 pt ew

  2. Systems selections – 3.45 Market Rasen, Balibour (Emma Lavelle Handicappers 5/1+). 5.05 Southwell, Baron Run (Karl Burke at Southwell).

    Good luck.

  3. Dark Invader Market Rasen 15:15 1pt e/w-Looks really solid here back to his last winning mark. His last 2 wins have come off 106 and 105. I think there are doubts about a number of the opposition and the good ground will suit and he won’t mind if it turns fast. He stays further than the bare two miles which wail help over today’s trip. Form of his run 2 starts back has worked out well. They take the cheekpieces off here to mix things up which was what they did for his last win also. Should be able to race prominently and expect him to go close.
Silva Eclipse Market Rasen 16:20 1.5pt win-This one just looked overpriced. He wouldn’t have liked the drop back in trip but before that he ran well in a class 2 the run before and the 3rd hacked up in a class 2 at the weekend and when he was 2nd the time before the 4th and 5th have also won. I have doubts about the front three in the market and want to take them on. Sue Smith is in decent form and another who will race up there.

Like me needs some bucking up. Unlike me this one is upped in distance, also gets a tongue tie and cheekpieces.

Olly Murphy is good at the tongue-tie first time, fair with cheekpieces.

He’s in form and the horse appears up there in section 1.

        1. I am not a volume man I must admit. I am always happy to see brevity but if something works then I will always bow down to it. The month end posting of the results is the key (I do that) and then we all know where we are at.

  20. There seems to be a flurry of ‘promos’ for Professional Advisors lately.
Just wondered if anyone would be happy to comment on two recent services i have looked at briefly. Ron Williams and Brett Love – both look very good but having ‘Sunk a number of seemingly good services over a few years’ (Chubnut type Smiley) before joining RtoP, i am interested in how anyone using these two over a decent timeframe ideally 6 to 12 months. Appreciate i would need separate Banks. My temptation is probably to stick for now with Josh’s (3 i’ve narrowed down) and Nick’s, in the belief they will make for a profitable flat. Just curiosity, i think that FRANCIS recently mentioned following a few, but not sure if included these? Thanks.

    1. Cannot comment about the mentioned tipsters for no nothing about them.
Only thing i will say about any tipster if they are good why do they need to keep advertising on a regular basis, to attract new customers for the ones who have not renewed for they are not happy with the returns or lack of, again ask any tipster for prove of their claims, over the years none have ever sent me any.
One ex jockey i know rang him and said no bull do you make a profit his reply since retiring have not had a losing year out of 12, trusted him and for 10/12 years paid him £750 per year and was he good he helped to close my bookmakers accounts down, and he hardly advertised for his customers stayed loyal to him.
RTP you have everything on here and over the years since Josh started it up it is improving year upon year, and the quality of information from genuine people on here does amaze me, odd dodgy one Colins bets having a nightmare this year, working hard to rectify and results are published win or lose.
I have looked for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow over the years and it is very hard to find.
      Colin.

      1. Thanks Colin, much appreciated. I m sure too that your Colin’s Bet s will return to profits – i will be watching them and those of others on here. Take care.

    2. Hi John,

Firstly there’s a couple of rules with discussion of other services, and mainly ‘tipping/race adviser’ services within the members’ posts… well mainly that I don’t mind, if it’s a service/freebie that i’ve promoted before- hence such a discussion is fair game, and those two fall into that category.
Secondly, i’d prefer such discussion to take place in the free post comments rather than here, but that’s an aside…
      *
Before getting onto those two… Nick’s results in 2018, and indeed from the couple months before that, i doubt have been bettered anywhere in truth. I mean no pressure on him but I doubt there was a ‘tipping service’ in the country that matched those results, both profit, and certainly profit/ROI. I could be wrong, but it was a bit mad. He was due a slump from those heady summer heights, but before yesterday was still +32 points or so up for 2019.
      *
Ron Williams… i was first approached by him in September some time- I’m always sceptical of new tipsters etc, esp ones that appear on twitter – he existed before twitter as such, and i don’t like his/(the company he uses I think) approach to marketing, but that’s a personal thing. He uses ClickBank, and if he hadn’t have done that I doubt I’d have gone near to promoting as the risk is just too great for me/and anyone who invests. He also does a 14 day trial for £1 but to be honest, you need to make a decision before joining any such service/short trial period about whether you’re going to give them at least 3 months in my view – He was +77 points or so up this year and had a very good couple of weeks, and is now probably due a slump. You probably curse services as you, as with many, will join after a promo which is the back of a recent hot spell! It’s natural there should then be a down-turn. Actually the best time to join a service is near the end of a slump. Back in October I sent 40 odd of my readers etc to his trial, and 26 or so are still there a few months later. I receive all his emails and can verify the results on his website – which is very good, every horse/tip etc is listed, and they are correct. He sends 1-3 horses on average the evening before, generally playing in the 2/1-8/1 range, with 1 point win and 1 point EW bets. He’s had a solid 23% ROI since starting in July 2017, and i’ve nothing negative to say from what i’ve seen. That’s a long term investment but it looks like a solid 80-140 odd points per year service. You have to weight up the fees against the stakes you’d use etc etc.
One of the original emails I sent out about that is here>>>

      Brett Love…
I know the guys behind this service- well those who run the admin/doing this promo, never met Brett as yet, but I hear he’s nice guy from people I trust. The freebie is decent given Brett’s MO and that will throw up plenty of winners.
He is a flat specialist for me – I helped them promote it once for last year’s jumps season mainly from memory, and while he ticks along over the winter (albeit not sure done that well in recent months) I think he’s a flat specialist and his results on the turf are very good – Geegeez did a review which was decent, and if you head there and use the ‘search bar’ for Brett Love you’ll find it.
I personally think they have got the pricing wrong for a while, but it’s not my service and not for me to say, but £59.99 per month was on the steep end! This promo they have changed it, it comes with a £1 trial month, with then monthly/ quarterly/or whole flat season options, which look better value.
Darren and the betting insiders school lot (who promote Brett’s service etc) tend to be very picky with tipping services they support, and his results with them on the flat have been very good I believe. He is very selective I believe, mainly big races at weekends/festivals. It could be a good one to compliment a portfolio, and you’ll get the 1st month for £1 to dip your toe in. He does decent write ups (I receive all those emails also) , unlike Ron, who’s very much – here is a horse, back the horse, onto tomorrow. Brett’s would be more educational, if that’s your thing.

The email I sent for that, with link to freebie, is here>>>
      https://app.getresponse.com/view.html?x=a62b&m=kPPp6&u=WGi5&y=U&dont_redirect=1

As with any tipping service there are pros and cons, and different price points etc. I’ve o doubt Ron’s will keep working long term, as will Brett’s on the flat turf.

I don’t want a discussion on these pages of services that I’m unaware of / haven’t helped promote etc 🙂 There’s plenty of good review sites people can look at etc. The key is you have to a) come to a conclusion to try a service and stick with it, based on the evidence etc, b) then actually stick with it, with a proper bank, for a decent amount of time.

      Best
      Josh

      1. Thanks Josh, yes all makes perfect sense! Stuff like this should be on the Free one. Also with hindsight i think my post was a bit naively put 🙂 As i said in it i feel minded to stick with Yours and Nicks. Since posting i ve had an email from Brett Love saying there will be a ‘discount’ for Flat season, and will get to know what that is fairly soon. Appreciate your input as ever.

        1. Well based on his 2018, (+532 points!!!) and his year to date, you’d be mad not to stick with Nicks!! 🙂 My big race tips will be just fine long term, but the fallow periods can be long, and i’m still paying for a silly period last year. In an ideal world profit would be spread out evenly but it never goes like that. There are decent tipping services around, inc those two, Cleeve are very solid, year in year out. Some people want to be excited though, and get bored with solid 60-140 point years across all seasons etc.

          1. Thanks Josh, i assure you i have no intention of not sticking with yours (S1. S3A# and BRTips) plus Nicks. My post initially(which i really should have explained better) was to consider whether to ADD one or two to those and ‘add value’ – realising that i need appropriate Bank/Staking. The experiences of the first now near 4 months and the losses incurred have really made me understand the need for stream-lining those i follow (initially about 7 cos i didn’t listen to advice 🙁 ) and for absolute patience. I think i will stick with what i have just said but keep an eye on others. thank you and others who have put two pennuth in, really looking forward to the Flat now 🙂

      2. I am not going to mention any tipster service. I agree with the evidence based approach to picking a tipster. I would add two things;
        1. Join a service that reviews tipsters and proofs their results – I do some work with Smart Betting Club and so would recommend them.
        2. Contact the tipster directly and ask them salient questions. The decent ones will be happy to have a chat. Also ask for a trial.

But there are a number of good tipsters on RTP and so I would stick with them. I think that a tipster is an added bonus but I would not pay a lot for them.

    7.00 Kempton Capofaro BOG 2/1
JO said Capofaro is bred for the Derby off 50 today and a certainty for him today, we shall see but i have been impressed with Jamies comments in the past but never heard him so bullish, no doubt it will finish last!!!!

  23. I cant get live videos to work on betfair exchange. Is it cookies i need to delete? Anyone advise how to do it on a Samsung S8, theres only so much racing post text commentary i cant take

  24. Lambourn Trainers, trainer i trust Charles Hills both been backed.
    3.05 Lingfield Shangai Grace 7/2 to 11/4
8.30 Kempton Global Tango 9/2 to 4/1 and less, Charles said
He worked well in blinkers last week and hopefully they will give him an edge, he has been running well and we hope he will go close tonight.
I will be backing both and the strongest for me is Global Tango.
Do what you want with them for they are not tips from me.
    Colin

    1. These Lambourn trainers been watching them for approx 4 months trying to get a feel of the trainers to trust have a few now, and the last one of Oliver Sherwoods was backed from 14/1 to 7/1 when finishing 3rd.
From today will start recording those that i put up here and see how they go.
So todays BOG prices will be 11/4 and 4/1 both win bets again these are NOT TIPS.

    South’ 4.30 Rizzle Dizzle….. HCP

…… and yes it is on George’s ‘short’list. 😉 Be hard to put one up that wasn’t, but you never know. We don’t often coincide, but results so far would suggest that when we do they do appear to do better than might be expected.

  27. Lambourn Trainers, just arrived home and checked evening meeting again and Jamie Osborne,

    1. Cheers for posting that update Colin, there was no comment up from JO when I checked this morning. Lovely drift too!

      1. You are correct, but he would not have been allowed to do and say what he did without Jamies permission.
Go onto Luke Harvey @leglockluke twitter he certainly had a few bob on, by the sound of him.
        Cheers
        Colin

  28. I cant get live videos to work on betfair exchange. Is it cookies i need to delete? Anyone advise how to do it on a Samsung S8, theres only so much racing post text commentary i cant take

    1. Can’t help Chris but betfair have definitely changed something overnight. I can get the video but can’t enlarge it on an iPhone!

      Colin.

      Best
      Josh
