    HEREFORD 15:30 RULE THE OCEAN

  5. De Little Engine nearly pulled it off, caught on the line, beaten a short head. I was on at 42.0, ouch.

She’s got another one today, fits the profile exactly, and it’s got sire stats to kill for at Wolverhampton.

    6.00 The Eagle’s Nest 18/1

Meanwhile my running total of -16 doesn’t mention the near misses.

  6. Hi Josh, it has taken a while for me to post regarding Cheltenham, as i have been so busy work wise – but I had my best festival week ever, all down to RTP members – as follows
I used your good self (tips and through the card) religiously, Colin, Nick & Francis
I did the Sky offer for the first race every day, and had the winner every day, admittedly had a couple each day as used my partner’s account, so these were £20 win on 6/1, 8/1, 3/1, 20/1 – we can all do the maths on those. Apart from those through the week I had the following – I won’t mention all – Beware the Bear won 10/1, Vintage Clouds 2nd 16/1, Roksana won 10/1 Stormy Ireland 2nd 7/1, Wiliam Henry won 28/1, Frodon won 9/2, Paisley Park won 11/8, Any Second Now won 6/1, The Young Master 3rd 22/1, Countister 3rd 18/1, Bun Doran 2nd 11/1, Coolanly 5th 20/1
I know I don’t have any input whatsoever, but the above just shows what a site this is, all on here sound really genuine people as well – so from me to the above mentioned especially a big thank you!!
Colin hope you are still doing well, it’s my dads big day today!!
Josh I am off to Aintree next week as usual – 29th year out of 30!! (1 missed due to a wedding in Cheltenham ironically!!) Looking forward to your thoughts, I know more of a social event for you.
Josh do you mind if I contact you directly? I tried to find you at Aintree last year but with no joy, I would just like to meet up for 5 minutes – to thank you & buy you a couple of pints, it’s the least I can do

    1. Hi Harry,

Thanks for posting, much appreciated. Glad you had your best Festival to date, your approach to the various content etc the result of being around for a while now no doubt 🙂 I do wish i’d have tipped some more of those ‘through the card’ winners but alas that’s said with hindsight, but glad you backed them all, a decent return of +36 or so I think, minus my main losses on the week. Backing my main tips EW was worthwhile this year, reduced the losses/small profit, so something for me to ponder there.

I think i’m on my 12th year in a row now since first going in 2008 so i’ve got some catching up to do!

It is more of a social week for me, well mainly as 3 days of racing/on your feet is tiring enough! But such was my official sub standard effort at Cheltenham i’ll probably work a bit harder on the analysis front this time I think, so we shall see how that goes.

Yep feel free to email me, gmail add prob best… racingtoprofit@gmail.com

Thursday before race 1, or early on at some point, may be best, esp as it’s a quieter day. Look forward to it,

      Josh

Will be the best thing that your dad will have done in time, provided he does the exercises recommended by the physio they are a must.
Eight weeks now since my op, do not use any crutches and just returned home from the Hospital only a blood test and checked my App and have walked 3.3 mile so far today, a total new lease of life.
Wish you father well and be positive and exercise, for a quick recovery.
      Cheers
      Colin

  8. Probably hopeless but had a small bet on Felicity’s Choice at 50/1 ew in the 2.50DR. Looks useless on first 3 starts, however they’ve put on a claimer who has a strong record with the trainer for the first time – 4 wins, 5 places from 6 runs. It also gets first time TT, is upped in distance and its last 2 runs have been on softer ground so this surface may suit better, so there are a few reasons why it could improve. Trainer is in decent form also 2 wins from 8 last 30 days. Interestingly the yard had one with a similar profile that looked useless then bolted up when this claimer was put on.

  14. I like to do a daily super heinz in the hope of striking lucky and taking the bookies to the cleaners! I’ve been doing it a few weeks now with mixed results but as yet the bookies are still standing.
Anyway if it’s ok I will try and post them up each day so I can publically shame myself…

    1. thanks ‘zico’ 🙂 , all racing posts welcome here. Best of luck. Do you have any particular approach to finding these? What you look for etc? i’m always intrigued how others approach the great puzzle.

      1. My approach is generally to pick the brains must better than mine then eliminate or add horses as I see fit. I use the advice of the members here to a large extent. I’ve found this site fascinating in the few months I’ve been here and love the fact all posters seem very genuine but also very different in their approaches.

    2. Is the grouping of the horses random or is there some form of methodology?

I bet singles and doubles through the week but Saturdays and festivals I go in with some bookie buster perms. I usually hit at least one a year for a £8 to £10K pick up. I too use certain members/ free services for such selections.

I think you are better off doing it once or twice a week and going with something more solid other days. But that is just an opinion.

      Good luck anyway.

      1. Thanks for reply Martin. I think you’re probably right and I suppose I’m using this to see if it is worth doing or should I be tweaking it. If I do 2 like today it’s generally a lower price one and an outsider one otherwise I just go for my most fancied 7. On quiet days I do sometimes feel i’m shoehorning selections in.
