    R 5.25 – Al Hawraa @ 12

    7.50 – Mouchee @ 2
    8.20 – know Your Limits @ 6

Near qualifiers on Sat profit @ bog 3.25 @sp 1.5
    A 4.05 – Crownthorpe @ 6

  2. Golf update – Ryan Fox tied for 6th place at the 50/1 available and so we got back 4.33 points on our each way bet. Our match bet lost for 5 points and our U.S. bet also lost as Chesson Hadley failed to finish at 1 point each way. So a loss on the week of 4.67 points and so are cumulative +6.67 points for 2018.

For the Open I have ante post bets of Tommy Fleetwood at 66/1 for 1 point each way and Tyrrell Hatton at 50/1 1 point each way. I will post further selections later in the week.

    Good luck.

  3. Windsor 16th July
    Windsor 6.20pm 6f Novice
    1. Bobby Ewing, First Thought
    2. Garrus, Hold Still, Magical Wish
    3. Barossa Red, Barristan The Bold, Jack Louie, Ragstone Cowboy, Reddiac
    No bet without seeing them.
Whilst Magical Wish is a deserved favourite and on form the most likely winner, there are 4 good rivals here in the could be anything from yards that can ready one brigade. Garrus cost 130k, from Noseda who is in hot form at present, if Jamie Sp decides on a go from the front ride from stall 3 then it could be difficult for the favourite. Hold Still is well bred and has the benefit of David Egan instead of Martin Dwyer which is a bonus. Bobby Ewing also looks speedy and the Crisford Havlin partnership is promising. First Thought from Haggas may well be either a slow learner or just slow.
    Winsor 5f 6.50 5f Mdn
    1. Concierge, Swiss Pride, Melya, Superstition
The top rated in this race are all at a low level compared with the earlier novice.
Here are my comments from when Concierge finished 3rd to Sussex Solo’s 4th in a weak race 3 weeks ago at Windsor
Concierge – Lower medium neatly made. 67
Sussex Solo – Smallish, oddly capable debut for a 2yo from connections. 65
Paul Cole has occasional 2yo winners at Windsor and runs two. They are not being supported in the betting at the moment, but who would when they might both be Cole mad ones.
It would not be surprising if any of them won this. Another for paddock review.

  4. Weakest event bets:-
    230 Burmese Blazer
    350 Dubai One
    405 Roll On Rory
    440 Sultan Baybars
    525 Trautmann
    550 Jalingo
    710 Sir Billy Wright
    720 Tomily
    740 Bertie Moon
    840 Medici Moon

    1. A complete washout, other than a 3rd; if I can’t do better by Saturday I shall abandon the idea as it is time consuming and loss making.
