Test/trial  : ‘NOTES’ ‘aka Tips’(2017 Sept-Dec: 31/176, +110.75)(2018: 12/133,42p, +7)  (1 point win bets) (Festival Tips 2018: +101.5)

Nothing today. Good to notch up an 8/1 winner yesterday, and with any luck I can build on it moving forwards! The Morrison horse will be winning soon enough I feel. A very strange ride (to instructions no doubt) over that trip, given they didn’t appear to go any pace and he found himself detached, before making up plenty of ground. Back up to 7f next time no doubt.

Really Super… a frustrating run in truth. She looked superb pre race and much improved from Nottingham. The race was fairly stop start which didn’t suit her..going an ok pace through the first 3rd, which she settled just off, before slowing down markedly at the top of the hill. She lost a few positions, Spencer moved his forward knowing it was a crawl. RS wasn’t the best coming down the hill and lost some ground there also. They then appear to have quickened the pace twice up the straight. She is just a galloper/stayer, lacking a change of gear and that may influence tactics next time. Annoying that she was done for 3rd close home.

  1. AW meetings at Chelmsford and Kempton tomorrow. Qualifiers as follows:

    2.20 Nina Petrovna 11/1
    3.20 Danzay BSP (min 5.0) & Lady Alavesa 10/1
    5.20 Drill 5/1 & El Ghazwani 16/1

    6.10 Eltezam 10/1
    7.10 Hinde Street 7.08 BFEx & Dragon Mountain 14/1
    8.40 Lightning Charlie 11/1 & Dark Side Dream 16/1
    9.10 Sheila’s Fancy 10/1 & Banff 7/1

    1pt win each.

Hinde Street was below 4/1 with bookies so I’ve taken it on Betfair Exchange at 7.08. Danzay below 4/1 with bookies and below 5.0 on BFEx so I’ve taken BSP with minimum odds of 5.0.

    Good Luck

  2. Nick’s done it again with Way Out West. You are on some kind of roll. Brilliant tipping Nick.

  3. 2nd day in a row that I horse I tipped LTO wins (well in this case I was on holiday when he ran last but tipped him the time before when he looked to be given a poor ride). Guess that shit works 😉 Even the fancies ran well and between one of them and the Salisbury tip I actually lost 2 photo finishes. Surely this is getting silly and it must stop soon.

Love Dreams Chelmsford City Wednesday 15:50 1pt e/w Price taken 15/2
Calm Charm Yarmouth Wednesday 15:30 1pt e/w Price taken 9/1
Lady Freyja Yarmouth Wednesday 17:00 1pt e/w Price taken 11/1

    1. Bemused as to where you go that idea from, Mikey, any ideas??? Hahah. 🙂 Another good day, well done. Pleased to join the party. Well, it is getting silly, but no-one in racing is reading it as well as you are at the moment so best enjoy it and carry on, and given approach, no reason why it won’t just keep going! For now anyway, before a lull, which will probably still be a +30 month. Super stuff.

      1. Was hard luck with really super last night Josh, a step forward last night no doubt but do I detect a hint of exasperation from your tweet? As it turned out I had £646 running on to her for a place at 16s after way out west won using a combination of silly 10p ew bets garnered from yourself Nick and Ian yesterday. ( still got the 646 for six folds btw ) at an outlay of just over £20, and, yes I know it’s a stupid bet but I’m hoping that doing stuff like this extends the life of my 365 account. Still doing all the singles on Betfair. It’s hard to do justice to the insight of the people that post on here and not just the ones that I follow either. I have every confidence that others who are experiencing a more tricky run currently will find the winners before very long. Keep up the good work all.

        1. Ha. Probably getting done for 3rd didnt help, and also a realisation post race we got the tactics wrong. The pace she finished race at she could have kept going for another circuit probably. She just stays and lacks a change of gear. When you’re concerned about the pace of a race/turning into a sprint, there is only one thing to do! Grind them to death from the front. We shall see what happens next time! 🙂

    2. Oh well all good things must come to an end although Ian and SPA2 more than paid for my dogs today particularly with the Sophia’s Rock bet being win only.

  4. Karl Burke has quite a few runners tomorrow.2 at Yarmouth where he does quite well with 3y olds.Golden Guide 4pm and Rizzle Dizzle. Both are decent prices but I will go for Humble Grumble 5.10 Haydock 12/1 generally ridden by in form Curtiss

      1. Its a relief when you have 5 possible targets and only one bullet and you hit the right one, even if i got the name wrong, shouldnt write with sleepy eyes

  5. Onto todays coat pulling for Nick, just to let you know I do fancy the horses Nick has picked and explanations are in the underwriting.

    15:30 Yarmouth
CALM CHARM 9/1 gen 1pt ew
Lightly-raced maiden. Sixth of 9 in handicap (8/1) at this course (10.1f, firm) 28 days ago, slowly away. Cheekpieces on 1st time and no surprise if she does take off at some point (well-bred).
DOLPHIN VILLAGE 12/1 hills 1pt ew
Is dangerously well handicapped to take this very moderate affair trip and ground are in the horses favour the 8yr,old is regressing even so he should go close here and at the price should be backed e,w.

    15:50 Chelmsford
    ELJADAAF 22/1 gen 1pt ew
the horse beat via serendipity recently and is weighted to do so again he is well established in this type of race and should go well again here.
LOVE DREAMS 15/2 gen 1pt ew
Progressive for the most part this season, impressive when making all at Goodwood two starts ago. He was bitterly disappointing in Group 3 company when last seen, unable to settle early doors at Epsom. He returns to handicaps off a stiff mark, but he’s drawn well to attack and is unlikely to be far away if bouncing back.

    17:00 Yarmouth
LADY FREYJA 11/1 gen 1pt ew
I think this one is best to catch fresh or early in the year, run over &d off a similar break last year but got headed near the line the jockey going a little early. run after in a 7f maiden and bolted up by 7 lengths and given a handicap mark of 90 and lost her way losing 15lb in the process and at 11/1 value.
    MAJESTIC MOON 9/1 1pt ew
His best recent form has been on the All-Weather at Southwell with a win and a second place in January and February but well beaten over this course and distance last month off a rating just a pound higher.

All the best with whatever you back today.

    1. Thanks Stewart. A decent day for you yesterday too wasn’t it? One winner and three or four decent places from your 8 picks.

  6. LTO Losers.

    No qualifiers today.

Love Dreams was one but has run his 3 races and won once so have now binned him although Nick has tipped him and he is a course winner so I will go in again.

  7. Chris M Selections:

    16:10 Haydock – Stonific (4/1 gen) RTP
    20:00 Hamilton – Colour Contrast (5/2gen) RTP

Couple of short odds for me but they look good.

Good luck with what you bet today, hopefully Nick can keep up this incredible run!!

    2.00 Malaysian Boleh
    3.30 Right About Now
    6.00 Jessie Allan
    8.30 Afandem

Both winners yesterday well backed,Fanfair not the best of runs failed by an head lets hope it is brought out quickly.

  9. Colin, I had a fair few quid on Fanfair and it was only a narrow defeat, but I can’t help but think Ryan Rossa got his positioning all wrong.

    1. I was at the track and also had a good go on him! He was a bit to far back in hindsight but they must have thought horse needed settling, but being that far back in any race, let alone there, esp with a small enough field/moderate pace, is never great. But, the horse did get out and was close enough, and did hang badly for a time. Given way finished he should have won, and jockey will be contemplating that. Winner got first run really. Annoying, but when you back horses with claimers on etc it’s going to happen.

  10. not often I put one up but Ive thrown a fiver each-way at ZYLAN in the 830 at Hamilton tonight around 11/1.

Is 1 win from 1 at Hamilton, over the distance on good to firm ground off a mark of 77, exactly same setup as tonight. Rachel Richardson rides (I think) for the first time for Roger Fell and Fell I recall had Dapper Man win recently at Hamilton. From draw 7 I think it will get a nice tow from the Johnston horse in stall 8 and on balance, I thought it was worth a go.

    Boom! You have won £169.06

  12. Some very good tipsters on here. Nick M has been carrying the flag with a little help from Josh yesterday to keep the pot boiling. The top men hit a big one yesterday and a 16/1 and 9/1 winner today, with one of the four tips still to run. Those SP2A boys dont half no the time of day. Who was that who said they talked B***y S******s. Are you still sat in the corner with a pointed hat on with a bigD on it . Or have you seen sense and joined the party.

  13. Josh mate you got the tricast in the 6.50 @ Punch tonight paid £177
Don’t know how you work it out but it’s worth every penny of my subscription
