NOTES
4.40 Perth – Reivers Lodge – 1 point win – 6/1 (gen)
I’d best give this one another go having tipped her LTO where she slipped up, having yet to be asked a question. I think she’d have gone very close. 6s just allows the play here and the thinking is the same as LTO…which was her first run in similar conditions to her last win at Kelso before Christmas, where she beat Chapel Stile who’d go on to win three on the bounce. She can be a bit headstrong and there is a chance that experience the last day knocks her confidence. There are also a few more interesting runners in this than LTO from memory, despite the smaller field. I think the ground is ok but I got caught out with that yesterday where both Donny and Muss were much softer than I anticipated. Always a bit of a guessing game with changeable weather but I got that wrong. It is good/good to soft in places here, possibly some spots of rain before a bright and sunny day. Touch wood it isn’t proper soft.
That is all for today.

Tips – Hunting Horn missed the Derby but goes in the french equivalent, 3.15 Cha. He struggled to cope with Chester LTO but you can get 33/1 at present as an O’Brien third string. I will go 1 point each way. In the 2.35 Per, Sumkindofking makes the journey to Scotland for Tom George. He is currently 4/1 BOG and made a decent seasonal reappearance and will hopefully step forward. So 2 points win.
Josh
No LTO winners from me today.
Yesterday Echo Cove was a NR unsuitable ground SOFT… G or G/F required.
I looked back to see why FOXTROT KNIGHT was a failure 2 days ago Saddle slipped so worth a good follow-up NTO.

Havisham Fakenham 16:25 1.5pt win-Price taken 11/2-After a week struck down with a virus I am just about on the mend so I thought I would try and get a write up in. I like the angle of Paige Fuller running in amateur races given the as she holds her own against the professionals which makes her head and shoulders above any of the other jockeys here. She is 3/4 in amateur races when riding for the trainer and has an excellent record for him in general. The horse won a class 2 flat handicap off a mark of 82 so considering he makes his handicap hurdle debut off a mark of 96 he looks to be chucked in. They’ve kept him on soft ground and to 2m over the winter (although even than he beat several horses now rated over 100 in December) and they now step him up to 2m5f on good ground. I expect her to make all.
Nick fantastic shout mate. Thanks!!!
Just as you predicted Nick. Well done.
Called that perfectly Nick. I think that was the definition of Made All. Cheers
Ran. Them. Ragged.
Very well spotted that one Nick…Cheers.
Tony Mc.
What a lovely way to end the week….well done Nick
Nick,
called that race perfectly, well done and thanks!
Well that was easier than expected.
Spot on Nick and what a ride.
Well done once again !!
Chris
Top man, Nick. Thanks!
She stole that one, nice 8/1 BOG there. Hope the virus has gone in time for the Prosecco that has been dispatched.
Possibly although she seemed to have plenty of horse left regardless. I don’t know the exact rules about who can compete in these amateur races but does appear a little unfair that she is still allowed to ride in them. Not that I am complaining.
Cracking pick Nick thank you very much
Thanks Nick. I’m absolutely loving showing these winning bets to my mates who claim to be proper tipsters. Only small stakes as usual but always nice to log in and see a new total in my bank.
Brilliant tip once again nick & a nice drift hope your over the virus now!
Lovely! And I used BOG bookies unusually for me. Thank you!
Ah, cheers Nick. After a great Friday has a horrid Saturday. Needed a cheers on Sunday, guess who provides? NM. Top. Simply top.
AW results for last week.
Staked 19pts, Profit -7.5pts or -£37.50 to £5 stakes
Results for May
Staked 65pts, Profit +10.5pts or £52.50 to £5 stakes
Results from 12 Dec to date
Staked 872pts, Profit 90.85pts or £454.27 to £5 stakes.
Great start in May followed by very little, both in terms of meetings and winners, but still an overall profit.
Next AW meeting is at Newcastle on Tuesday. Back with qualifiers on Monday
As it is a quiet day thought I would put up one or two to consider.
Green Zone P 3.05…8/1.. 4 time course winner. Ran at Perth in a 2m4f hh in May 18
Gin n Tonic F 3.55 …7/2…3 time course winner only 4 runners. won on good this year.
Beeves P 4.10 ..11/2..2 time course winner won this race last year g/f. won in april 17 on good.
I’m not in the class of Nick, martin or josh in picking winners but these did catch my eye. For once I had a bit of time. No golf today.
