Interesting stuff once again, Robert.
I’ve backed Ghostwatch at 4/1 last night, as have quite a few people I know.
WEDNESDAY TOP RATED :
15:55:00 Newton Abbot – Alcala (150) u/p at 3/1
16:15:00 Kelso – Brave Spartacus (133) ***NO BET***
16:15:00 Kelso – Double Ws (133) ***NO BET***
19:45:00 Fontwell – Zen Master (113) 2nd at 7/1
15:00:00 Chester – Spoof (95) WON at 6.34
20:25:00 Wolverhampton – Time To Reason (74) u/p at 8/1
1/4 and +2.07pts ==> 8/31 (25.81%) for -4.23pts (-13.65%)
I think this needs 2 winners a day to make profit.

17:50:00 Wincanton – Night Of Sin (127) ***NO BET, unless other 2 pull out!***

Back today with my top rated runners in today’s ITV races at Chester. Let’s see if I can continue to find the winners today.

A Momentofmadness -> 142.20 (4/1 Bet365, 7/2 gen)
14:25 Chester:
My Lord and Master -> 54.76 (11/4 Bet365, 5/2 gen)

Hopefully get some nice winners today. Good luck to everyone!
Mixed emotions about today, 3 from 4 winners but all short odds again. I mean I should not complain as today provided +1.3 pts at Adv Odds and -0.53pt at SP but the ratings are soo close to finding winners at good odds but the races are being won by low odds so backing 3 struggles to make profit. The one winner I missed I am not annoyed at as he ran as I expected and this was filtered into his ratings but it turns out the running style I thought would win did not, quite the opposite actually. One that got away I guess. Anyway I will back tomorrow with my top 3 again, hopefully I can find a nice priced winner to cheer home!!
Morning. Very pleased with yesterday’s outcome but very wary today. We have three very competitive handicaps, one maiden (which I don’t play in ) and of the two Group races, a real conundrum in the Ormonde Stakes.
150 I was going to back Doctor Sardonicus, which is now a non-runner and Reflektor. I have now gone for Tavener. It needs to step up but if it can get in front with Franny Norton on-board from a good draw, who knows? Both ew bets.
225 My Lord and Master, Rastrelli
300 Porth Swtan, Mr Top Hat (both ew)
335 Idaho is very strong. A Grp 1 horse, with O’Briens record at Chester, especially for favourites and Moore booked – it should win.
But I cannot back it add odds-on – not when all 3 race wins are on GF, Moore has not won on him in 7 attempts (3 as fav) and whilst winning at Grp 2, has not won Grp1. As such, I am taking him on with Duretto and Danehill Kodiac. (I know, fools and their money are soon parted!!)
435 Ghostwatch, Austrian School
505 Never Surrender and Bhakt A Rawan (ew)
Separately, I am developing a ‘Value Fancies’ system and this has picked out Ruby Russett (820 Win) and Poet’s Prince (740 Chf),
Good luck today.
