Punchy notes….

No tips today…

yesterday’s punchy micros didn’t pull up any trees, the ‘notes’ pointers did find a 12/1 winner, so today i’ll repeat those from the Members’ post… these horses hit at least one stat from my look at Mullins/Harrington/Elliot… to be used as starting points before further research,or just ignored! 🙂

Other Notes(from report)

Starting points… hitting at least one bullet point/stat…

3.40 – Neverushacon/Rebellion Boy / Flaviana / Park Paddocks

4.15 – American Tom / Townshend / Tycoon Prince / Mr Fiftyone / Cadmium

5.30 – Bacardy’s / Faugheen / Penhill / Yorkhill / Jezki

6.05 – Glenlow / Folsom Blue / Moonshine Boy / Ainsi Va La Vie

7.15 – The Birdie Crowe

BOLD.. I think those three hit the Mullins handicap pointers, and on that basis may be worth plenty of attention/a deeper look.

  1. 26th April Beverley 2.00PM
    Ratings
    1. Fighting Spirit, Jensue
    2. Shumookh, Piccothepack, Immolakee
David O’Meara is 1/39 here with 2yos and his Fighting Spirit is not being backed at all. Piccothepack is the only one with a run under his belt and it may make the difference but his form is pretty weak and he is drawn relatively badly although the draw seems to matter less here nowadays. Looks like a race to avoid and couldn’t back anything unless a chance of an ew return so Jensue and Aeroshere look to be possible candidates for an e/w fun bet.
After a bad day at Windsor ratings Bets to date +6.87.

  2. Fun Bet Aerosmith won at 9/1. Frustrating that he could not be a ratings bet. The logic for those interested was as follows:-
the paper favourite Piccothepack’s form wasweak therefore Immokalee was a sort of thoughtless default favourite because she was Hanagan Fahey at Beverley. Jensue was not short enough to suggest that the stable thought it could win. O’Meara’s Fighting Spirit disqualified as he does not seem to send decent 2yos here. So what was left. 2 Ellison horses too long. Similarly John Quinns. Tinkler and Hollinshead never on a Thursday or any other day of the week. So down to Aerosmith and Shumooki as most likely outsiders. Aerosmith had the draw and a more experienced jock around these parts. Of course because he did not get in the top two levels of ratings I only had a tenner on, no complaints though helps to bring back confidence afte a couple of poor results.
