Nothing again from me today, it will liven up soon enough!
Last chance really if you missed any of the below…
1.Have You Grabbed Your Free 32 Page Festival Magazine?
If you missed Friday’s email to the general list, do take a read HERE>>>
Or you can jump straight to the download page HERE>>>
This is the third year I have sent out this magazine and it is a very good read, details in the email link above.
For each person that downloads the mag I am giving 50p to Charity. As I type £111 £150 £175 will be split between Moorcroft rehoming of racehorses and Whitechapel Centre for the homeless, up in Liverpool.
So, you get a decent magazine and something to read online while there is no jumps racing, and those two charities get some financial support. Winners all round. And as always, once you have the magazine, you can unsubscribe from the email list 🙂 A win win win.
You can grab your free magazine and send 50p to charity, HERE>>>
(oh if you’ve previously joined their list you may struggle to download it…you may need to find an old email from Free Racing Tips and unsubcribe or use another email)
Thanks in advance, Josh

2.Did you grab Gavin Priestley’s free Festival report and take a look at his unique Festival offer?
You can read my email on this HERE>>>
Gavin’s Free Trainer Stats report is HERE>>>
(you fine readers even get £1 off! Don’t spend it all at once 🙂 )
In his Festival microsite he has just added even more content for members including two new featured posts looking at the importance of Graded form in various Handicaps and some intriguing sire stats.
He’s also just released his two pokes for the Pertemps final… last year he picked the 11/1 winner and 33/1 second.
On Sunday members will have exclusive access to his brother Gary’s four Festival picks. He has a superb Festival record in the handicaps and given the form he’s currently in (+121 points with his Twitter tips in Feb) I’ll be sure to throw something at those.
You can take a look at Gavin’s offer for the Festival HERE>>>

3.Festival First Time Headgear…
Some snippets I uncovered during the week when my head was stuck in HorseRaceBase…
Cheltenham Festival, Aged 6/7, 33/1< SP, 1st Time Blinkers or Visor or Hood…
7/28,9p, +157 BFSP last 5 years (4/8 in non hncps) blank last year, but worth keeping an eye on, use quals as ‘starting points’ .
My own Festival offer is taking shape. I’ve decided it will be £9 (+vat) for full access to Festival week and a week either side I think, 14-21 days or so, where you can just access all members content and you can get a full refund whenever you want if you don’t appreciate my efforts 🙂
More news on that early next week, it should be live Tuesday or maybe before. I focus heavily on the 10 handicaps + about 3 other races and also the Midlands National on the Sat- the ‘boost the profits’ race, or the ‘get out of jail’ race, it will be one of the two! I have a different approach to stats/trends and focus on a few micros I have researched. There is a great community feel also. You get my own ‘tips’ (+63 points last year) plus plenty of pointers to use as you please. (I’m excited about my Gigginstown research, fingers crossed they have another good Festival)

GOLF BETS
Good winner with Phil Mickleson last week which put us into profit of +19.7 points for the year from only 17 bets.
VALSPAR CHAMPIONSHIP
Henrik Stenson 1 point EW 20/1 1/5 7 CO PP BO BFSB
Started 2018 well with an 8th and 6th then had a terrible tournament in Malaysia and he took a break to take stock, since his Copperhead debut he has finished 4th 11th and 7th in this tournament so a bold show is expected.
Charl Schwartzel 1 point EW 66/1 1/5 6 WH BF SUN
The tight course of Copperhead suits having won the first event on the re-designed course and finished 6th last year, for me he is overpriced at 66/1 for his course form.
Information only Top Rated Justin Rose 20/1
How much are you up since starting to post Colin? 2017 end on 30-40 points or so? I forget. Top work and much appreciated.

Started putting up my golf bets on Tuesday 5 September 2017
Profit + 46.30 points from 46 bets.
This is from only 2 bets per tournament unlike the Racing Post who can put up to 7 players per tournament and having not wasted my money on this rag for years no doubt they still do not put up their golf results for everyone to see each month if i am wrong please let me know.
wow, fantastic stats Colin, very well done and good luck this week.
I too like Schwartzel. Also I like Brandon Grace at 50/1. In India I like Scott Jamieson at 33/1.

5.20 General Tufto
A few altitude advantages this week but no real
prices to get excited about.
On Thursday in the Bolivian premier league The Strongest(la paz 3640 meters)
take on Blooming(santa cruz sea level)
This should be a routine win for the strongest as blooming lost at home last night against Nacional
Potosi in Santa Cruz they have to recover quickly and then hike up to la paz
and look to have very little chance
but the 1/4 the strongest is about the right price
With Blooming playing two home games in a row and a quick turn around before travelling to La Paz
I think they will take a hammering so although 1/4 isn’t a price to get carried away with
there could be bigger value on the Asian handicaps or for The strongest to win by 2 or more goals.
On Tuesday in the Copa scudamerica.
San Jose of Bolivia 3725 meters take on El Nacional from Quito in Ecuador(2840)
El National are used to playing at altitude and even though they are going up a 885meters
they are at a less of a disadvantage than sea level teams
not a game I would want to get involved with but whoever gets through could be interesting in the next round
Wednesday night Deportivo Cuenca of Ecuador 2400meters play Lequeno sea level
the first leg in Lequeno was won 2-0 by the home team so Cuenca have it all to do
at this stage of the copa scudamerica it is straight knockout over 2 legs
Cuenca have the altitude advantage but are not at 3000+meters and their record at home
is average even against sea level teams so the odds on quotes don’t scream bet.
I can’t find a price yet on The SPORTS HYANCAYO 3260meters in the Peruvian mountains
against Union Espanola Sea Level Thursday night( kick off 0.30 am Friday morning
The first leg was drawn 0-0 (game dominated by Espanola 65% possession) Hyancayo should a big edge going up to 3000meters plus
Espanola had a league game at the weekend at sea level so will have
little time to acclimatise plus a flight to the Peruvian mountain
so the home team must be the play.
have a feeling they may be a shade to short when the prices come out but evens would be a decent bet
The Strongest last 10 home games against Blooming read
won 8
drawn 2
lost 0
the score with the latest first
1-0
6-0
3-0
3-2
1-1
1-1
4-0
2-1
5-0
3-1
29-6
in 5 out of 10 they have won by two goal or more so with them coming off the back of a recent home game
any odd against a 2 or more goal win would be a fair bet.
with 4-0 5-0 and 6-0 in those ten results you can see what happens when they go there
of the back of recent home games
B365 are offering SPORTS HYANCAYO at 4/5. Seems a good price so have taken it.
What do you think
on the cusp of value
would of like evens but they should win
Sunderland v Villa
1pt win Villa @2.14 look generous to me. Villa are in gd form. Sunderland still fighting for Coleman but the clubs a shambles. Coleman is only there for the ££££ that is clear to see. Bruce is a top championship manager and has got Villa coming good at the right time.
Good Call with villa even had early payout with bet365 as they payout if your team go 2 goals in front. Stephen
