A bit shorter than I usually do but
C 3.25 Rock on Barney e/w@ 8’/9’s the odd better odds
Seems to be getting more competitive and certainly appears to prefer Clonmel. Ought to be a win bet but hey ho I’m not hitting the winners so far this month.

GOLF BETS
Big Phil continued his good form last week finishing tied 6th so we had a place win
Honda Classic
Tyrrell Hatton 1 point EW 28/1 1/5 7 BFSB 25/1 1/5 8 SB 25/1 1/5 7 CO PP
In the last 5 months he has had 2 wins and four top 10 finishes and he showed in Dubai that he is in form with a 3rd on his debut here last year took to the course with a fine 4th.
Brant Snedeker 1 point EW 55/1 1/5 7 BFSB PP 50/1 1/5 7 CO
Since his injury he has had two top 25s finishes in his last two tournaments and for me he is value at 55/1 to continue his revival
Information only Top Rated Rickie Fowler 8/1
Fowler clearly top rated, but among others, looking at decent Top 5/10/20 finishes, Donald, McDowell, Garcia, Singh are noteworthy
My golf selections are:
Honda Classic – Sergio has good course form and has the ability to win this at 18/1. I also like Tyrrell Hatton at 28/1 again with previous course form and has started 2018 in good form.
In Qatar I like Paul Lawrie at 200/1 as a bookie buster. If you look back he has won in the region and can outlast most of this field.

One altitude effected match this evening.
Sport Rosario are not a great team but they are based in Huaraz Peru at 3052meters
so any lowland team going there will have it all to do
In the Copa Scudamerica Uuguays Ca Cerro from Montevideo(43meters)
visit in the first leg of their tie tonight.
With these altitude bets From trial and error I have found the four things that make
a decent bets is
1. The home team are based at over 2800 Meters
2 The away team are from a base 500meters or less
3 the away team Have played a match at home or at another lowland base within 7days(4 or 5 even better)
4the team with the altitude advantage are at least even money
So if we look at tonight match
1 Sports Rosario are based at 3052meters
2 Cerro are based at 43meters
3 Cerro game in the Uruguyan league at the weekend was postponed
so they haven’t had a match for 16 days which could have allowed then to fly to Huaraz early and get
acclimatised
4 Sport Rosario are 4/7
So while 1 and 2 very much meet the criteria
3 and 4 certainly don’t
3 is a vital ingredient if the away team had a game at non altitude
only 5 or 6 days ago then they will have had no time to acclimatise
you often see Blooming a lowland Bolivian outfit having 4 altitude away game on the trot
by game 3 and 4 they are much more competitive
The asain handicap can be a useful tool
when the home team are facing a lowland team who played at home
very recently.
the combination or a marathon flight and then playing un acclimatised
in the mountains can see teams shifting loads of goals
it is also worth noting how the Cerro team perform in their league game this weekend
as Tonights game could take a lot out of them.
at 4/7 Rosario are a watching brief although they should still win
Would the altitude micro work in Africa? Obviously less countries with altitude based teams and they would be the lesser football nations?
Tuesday fixtures – Barcelona playing 442 under their current manager go to Stamford Bridge this evening. I would go with Barca over the two legs but think that the 6/5 away win is a bit short. With Barca playing two banks of four now I would go under 2.5 goals. In the Championship you can get evens on Sheff U at home to QPR, who have a poor away record. I am off to Millwall v Sheff Wed. The Lions are moving up the table and only likely need three or four wins to guarantee staying up from a remaining 14 games. The home team are in good form at present but do rely on 13-14 players who must be getting tired. The 7/2 on the way team seemed a bit big. Come on you Lions.
Man City failed to win to nil but \i did have under 3.5 goals at 10/11 and so a minimal loss.
Back with some Golf tips later.
JOBERG 1790 Meters
LA PAZ 3640 meters POTOSI 3960 meters SAN JOSE 3735meters in Bolivia
LDU QUITO, El NACIONAL, AUCAS UNIVERSITARIO are all based in Quito Ecuador at 2850 meters.
RAEL GARCILASO 3400 meters SPORT ROSARIO 3052 meters SPORT HUANCAYO 3260meters
AYACUCHO 2761 meters UNION COMERCIO 2750 meters(UTC CAJAMARCA 2750 meters playing at sea level while stadium under repair) all play in the Peruvian mountains
PATRITAS BOYACO 2790 meters BOYACO CHICO 2788 meters
LA EQUIDAD 2645 meters SANTA FE 2640 meters MILLIONARIOS 2636 meters
DEPORTIVO PASTO 2530 meters from Columbia are all 2500 meters plus.
Mexico city is only at 2250meters but the pollution that affects breathing make it feel like 3000
JOBERG would be half the altitude of the worst South American teams
when teams from Montivideo have to travel to QUITO you are talking a 3000 mile trip.
Cerro of Montevideo to HUAREZ IS 2889 miles so I think even if they went early to acclimatise they face
a game at altitude followed by a 300 trip home and then a match on sunday
Foot note to tonights altitude match
Cerro have to play at 3052Meters and the then fly home from Huaraz
to Montevideo
The distance is 2889 miles, when you consider London To Moscow in 1800
then you can see how knackered they are going to be whatever tonights result
on Sunday they travel to Nacional top of the Uruguyan league
so they will really struggle to stay competitive
They do have 5 days to recover(3 of 4 days and I would advise backing a large national win
on the Asian handicaps
Nacional would be odds on in normal circumstances but after Cerro trip
to the Mountains they may really give Cerro a pasting Sunday
