2.Any ‘Notes’ (my subjective thoughts/’tips’)
None.
It will be ‘back to normal’ from Tuesday as I’ll take the time to flick through selections properly and attempt to spark my own jumps ‘notes’ performance into life. I have just had a quick flick through (I am shattered…too old for 4am nights out in a row!)… do note that Adherence makes ‘handicap hurdle debut’… Slack is 2/5,+15 with such types… I suspect the market will guide…the break suggests they may have done something with him (clearly not wind as not declared) or he just wasn’t fit for his two novice hurdle runs. He has won on the flat so has some ability. It will be interesting to see how he goes and the market will guide. If he drifts I wouldn’t expect much, if the prices crashes into 8s< or something then strap yourselves in. I should start tracking ‘handicap debutants’ as I’m fairly confident they’d be profitable to back blind…the starting point being they qualify on this page somewhere against my various stats angles etc.

Just in case Josh is as pissed as I am (the only way to watch the Reds at times woeful defending, and I’m in the comfort of my armchair), here’s tomorrow’s quals.

Also, got a give a BIG thumbs up to Rafa and Jonjo. Superb tactics and a Souness performance.
Great result for the Toon today
A much needed win
Unfortunately a blank day yesterday bringing us back into negative territory for the week. Now I have my PC up and running and data up-to-date here are the results from the last 2 weeks:
w/c 29 Jan – Staked 53pts, Profit 23pts, ROI 43.4% or £115.00 to £5 stakes
BFSP – Profit 18.31pts, ROI 34.55% or £91.55 to £5 stakes (5% commission).
w/c 5 Feb – Staked 69pts, Profit -8.32pts, ROI -12.06% or -£41.62 to £5 stakes
BFSP – Profit -21.01pts, ROI -30.46% or -£105.07 to £5 stakes.
January – Staked 271pts, Profit 113.53pts, ROI 41.89% or £567.65 to £5 stakes.
12 Dec to date – Staked 520pts, Profit £121.73pts, ROI 23.41% or £608.64 to £5 stakes
Wolves again tomorrow. Qualifiers as follows:
5.10 Crown Walk 14/1
5.40 Normandy Blue 12/1 & Battle Lines 6/1
6.10 Qaffaal 9/1 & Pactolus 5/1
6.40 Velvet Revolution 5/1
7.10 Ask The Guru 6/1
7.40 See Vermont 15/2
8.40 Idol Deputy 11/1
1pt win each
Most of these odds are still available. One or two up and one or two down depending on which bookies you use.
Good Luck
Ah if only. Crown Walk is 1.4, not 14/1 🙂
Sorry that should be Dorella 14/1. Crown Walk is not a qualifier.
Thanks God I read the comments below!
Nice winner with Dorella, Ken (I got 23 on BF, nice) – was nearly tempted not to bet given the price of the odds on fav but Ive learned that this only inflates the price of the other runners as the herd follow. The penalty looks like it did the trick!
Josh needs to update the website to add an edit button 🙂
All the best
Eamon
Congratulations on your results to date Ken, very good ROI. Well done and thanks for sharing!
Great start Ken, BFSP was 26.13 for Dorella
Well done if you got that Linda. I’ll take 14/1. Hope everyone saw my update this morning.
Wonder if anyone got anything matched at 1000 in running?
Hi Ken.
Well done on another good day. I’m wondering if you have any stats on your results if there was a minimum odds range much like Josh’s strategy 1, 10/1 or greater. The reason I ask is there seems to have been a decent number of bigger prices winning. A lot of the selections seem to fall in the 4/1-10/1 range and from what I remember a disproportionate amount by of the longer odds qualifiers seem to win. Might be a way of narrowing down the number of bets. Keep up the good work.
Here we go with today’s very tentative selections, fields are balanced at both 8 runners and if they do drop to 7 the each way option is taken out somewhat, can almost guarantee one will have a non-runner.
Up to your discretion as to whether you want to do them each way or straight win.
16:20 Plumpton
ACHILLE 8/1 gen
back over hurdles after 2 spins over fences confirmed he doesn`t like them, well treated even off top weight.(claimer takes 7lb off).price is value.
SARTORIAL ELEGANCE 11/2 gen
First start since a wind op and has Tom Scudamore riding for Colin Tizzard, Value at 11/2 in this company.
16:50 Plumpton
UPHAM RUNNING 5/1 gen
It`s the Bryony factor on this one, she is winning on anything at the moment, 2nd running back after wind op and 1lb lower also.
SIXTIES IDOL 8/1 gen
was hampered crucially just before 3 out when the pace quickened and still made up ground between the last 2 to grab a place,a clear run today will be interesting.
There you go, do with them what you will, posted at 06:15 before any other tipster is probably out of bed…
the only one that catches my eye today is Hit and Run catt 3-35 @ 6-1 good run lto over c&d and won this race last year.
might have a small ew on Landscape plum 4-20 @20-1 inconsistent but in with a chance on a going day.
Hi Martin, Mc Cain won the 3.35 race last year but not with Hit And Run.
It is sunny with a light frost in the South East. I would imagine Plumpton will be pudding like going and so you need a horse that stays and stays more.
I think Kaloci, 2.15, will keep on winning; I would lay Cheque En Blanc in the 4.20. He does not win easy anyway and I think it is getting harder for him now.
Johnny G sends one to Wolves, 5.40, Orchid Lily. However it is drifting at present and so keep an eye for any money for it before backing.
Hopefully racing will beat the weather this week and give us some sport? Champions League though again and so some value there I think? Will post thoughts tomorrow.
Good luck.
Hello All,
2 AW qualifiers today, both at Wolves:
17.40 Michael Attwater System PASSING CLOUDS
