One of interest in the 2.05 at Plumpton.
Stolberg – been running in Class 2 and 3 races now dropped into a Class 5. Tongue tie back on, has won on heavy and has been backed early.
had every chance when fell at the last. Drifted to a nice price too..
sitting here pissed off as even though i had my flu jab seems like i’m down with a dose of “Aussie flu” , feeling shite and can’t sleep. on the positive it’s given me a chance to have a good look at Plumpton .
12-30. Moore’s runnerAge Of Wisdom 12-1 looks interesting won over 1m4f and placed over 2m in soft ground on the flat in France making his debut over hurdles Moore can get them ready fto and i’ll have a go ew.
2-05. as mentioned above by Bogsnorkeler Stolberg 13-2 has obvious chances but i also like Snippetydoodah 14>11-1 cd winner in heavy ground owned and trained by M Roberts, J O’Brien on board has also won in heavy over 2m6f so should have no problem getting home.
2-35. another one of Moore’s Leo Luna 15-2 third of 6 behind Get On The Yager beaten 17l at 12-1 lto in heavy ground this looks a bit easier.
£1 ew patent on those 3 as it’s on ATR for a bit of interest .
gl all if your having a punt today.
just watched all 4 series of In the line of duty so had to have a small ew on The Caddy 12-40 Naas 🙂
Perfect Candidate ran way below par yesterday, the standing start didn’t help and maybe he sulked when he couldn’t lead, the drift from 8-16 was ominous so maybe something not right with him on the day,one to note for future
hmm, that’s him I think…every single career win has been followed by a flop I think, from memory when I looked yesterday. Rarely puts two good runs together. He could have been knackered after that last win also, maybe just didn’t feel up for it. Was never happy. He doesn’t have to lead, but maybe.
I don’t think its necessarily a case of two runs in a row Josh. I think it may be that class 2s worth less than £20k is his level. In hindsight I tipped him the previous time due to the fact there was nothing else that would have been suited by the conditions so maybe I overstated the value of the run. That and the fact that maybe he needs a very undulating track. Certainly the start didn’t help yesterday.
Has class but enigmatic, any horse that can run Theatre Guide close has ability, his flop might give him bit of value next time out
