Muthabir Kempton 15:05 1pt e/w-Muthabir looks a solid bet here. He rarely runs a bad race and has been running consistently. Now only 1lb above his last winning mark with the jockey taking off 5lb. All his wins are right handed and on his last run at the track he was a close 6th in a much better race than this. Expecting him to be there or thereabouts. Trainer could be in better form but all his runners sent off at single figures have ran well.
Considering Sky are paying 3 places on a 7 runner race and 3 of the 7 are having their first run of the season I have had a small £5 ew bet on Prairie Town in the last at Kempton who is down to a nice mark and was a solid enough performer in class 3s and weak class 2s last season off higher marks.
Volt Face-Kempton 14:30 1pt e/w-I was looking at this one last night but wasn’t happy with the price but it has now drifted to 13/2 so need to be bet. Tipped up by Josh 2 starts ago at the track when I just managed to pip him with Exitas who has gone on to win a listed race and was than placed in a class 2 off 18lbs higher. The 3rd who was 14 lengths back also won NTO. Was fav NTO but I think 2m is too sharp for him. Goes back up in distance here which is a plus (was 2nd to Shelford over 3m only beaten 7l off level weights earlier this year) and returns to Kempton. He has placed in all 3 starts on flat tracks. His two wins have come with cut in the ground so you could argue the rain will have improved his chances. Hopefully Burke can get him out front here. Longsdon is 3/11, 4p +18 in handicap chases here in the past 2 years. I would be disappointed if he is out of the first three although given my luck right now will probably be a first fence faller.
Magnificent pick Nick, very well done!!
Thanks. Nice to get my first winner in over a week. Prairie managed to sneak in 3rd at 20/1 as well. Volt finished where all good e/w bets do.
Thank you very much Nick appreciated
Looking at tomorrow’s section 1 runners COOL MACAVITY 3:35 Kempton may have been unlucky last time out when fell.
Looking through the cards DANCE FLOOR KING 2:30 Kempton looks interesting at 7/1 since 2013 Daryl Jacob Distances of less than 2m5f 48/110 | 44% S/R | +£79.50 BFLSP front running horses

Nicky Henderson’s runners haven’t been quite ready until Saturday when the stable notched a 33% SR. A team of eight out today and value to be found with the longer priced ones (at favoured Kempton):-
230K Forever Field – had a 2 month break before last run, back on easy going
305K Le Dauphin – new trip to suit breeding
335K Milzipa – drop in trip may help
I’ve learnt that Milzipa has had a wind op. and is working better now.
The other two are not much fancied by the yard, it seems.
105L Protek des Flos will like the going, soft, g-s, on the chase course and has schooled well.
The 5/1 for Clenagh Castle in the 3.20 LUD seems OK value to me? No weight compared to the other fancied horses. Not much else of value really. You would have thought that Jers Girl would win if the horse is making the journey over to KP.
