A fairly quiet day. No tips or micro system qualifiers…but I will mention…
A horse of interest
3.00 South – Vado Forte – 9/2
He is a ‘test qualifier’ from the members’ post, for a Tom Lacey angle we are monitoring. At 9/2 this one looks worth a tickle to my eyes. Lacey is ‘ in form’, 3/14,7p last 14 days. He is also 5/19,7p, +20 in the last two years with handicap debutants and that’s an angle to keep an eye on. The horse drops in class and gets a hood fitted. And returns to decent ground. He has been very keen and needs to settle, the hope is that the hood helps. There is no pace in this race and there is a chance they try and lead again. It is also a shocker of a race that shouldn’t take much winning. He could well be moderate and run no sort of race, but 9/2 seemed fair to my eyes, esp given the quality of oppo and his unexposed ‘doing something different’ profile.

GOLF BETS
No bets this week, spent time researching the Hong Kong Open with no inspiration,
will be back next Tuesday.
I’ve been trying to post a link up to Matt’s article about jump jock fall stats but it seems to be verboten. A really good read on the Geegeeez blog.
Thanks for the mention, time for the older men to give way, I feel.
There you go…. King Paddy!! 🙂
