  1. Buckby Boy Lingfield Tuesday 13:20 0.75pt e/w-I want a small bet on Bucky Boy here at a decent price. Was 4th LTO in a bumper at the track on debut and the front 3 have all since won. Looked to have needed it LTO and should come on for that. Skelton thinks he will make a nice prospect. He doesn’t send many here but has a solid 2/6, 4p record at the track in the last 12 months. The favourite is a worthy one particularly with Russell coming over for the one ride but there doesn’t appear to be much depth here and the selection, fav and a rank outsider are the only ones that have had a run this season.
Hadfield Worcester Tuesday 14:30 1pt e/w-Hadfield looked a solid e/w bet here. Does all his best work when running of shorter breaks of 30 days or less and has ran 2 solid races when Fehily has been on board. Form of his last hurdle run has been franked with the 2nd following up in a class 3. The flat LTO would have blow away the cobwebs. Trainer has a good record here and is an Elite Squad qualifier. Still fairly unexposed and I expect him to go close.
Cosmic Diamond Huntingdon Tuesday 15:10 1pt e/w-I am willing to forgive his last run where either the track or ground wouldn’t have suited. Before that he won over course and ground and 2m4f and is only 4lbs higher for that run. The 2nd and 3rd have boosted the form both winning class 4s. Trainer is 4/11, 6p over hurdles at the track in the past year and 20/1 looked massive particularly as you can get 4 places with several bookies and there is a huge amount of deadwood here. I respect the front 2 in the market however I couldn’t not have a go at the price.

    1. Sirop De Menthe Lingfield 15:20 1.5pt win-I ended up adding one more but I cannot really leave this one at the price. He is 2/3 when returning off a break of 120+ days. He is 3/4, 4p in November. He has a 1st and a 2nd from 2 runs at the track including a win over course and distance. He is 4lbs below his last winning mark. Will like the soft ground tomorrow and the trainer had a winner at the weekend. He is best in small fields. (3/10, 7p in fields of 7 or less) Four of the others are also returning off long lay-offs and have yet to prove they run well fresh so the 14/1 looked overpriced. Just a shame there are 7 runners not 8 since we can’t go e/w here.

    2. I thought I would mention it before someone points it out (I would do anything for that edit button Josh!) but Buckby is obv running at Lingfield not at Huntingdon where he had his first run. Brain was clearly not 100% there last night. The rest still stands and Skelton actually has an arguebly better record here (5/11,6p overall)

      1. I’m not sure i’ll be adding an edit button anytime soon Nick, outside of any technical issues (of which there would be plenty, esp ensuring those who wrote the comment are the only ones who can edit it!), as it makes me uncomfortable and gives me a ‘Ministry of Truth’ shiver. 🙂 But, the comments functionality could be improved and I need to ponder that/think of some enhancements.

        1. Its OK mate I figured that might be the case. (just need to try and remember to proof read my posts better to avoid looking like a prat)

          1. Oh well if you can’t look like a prat in these parts you can’t anywhere haha. I usually post, then proof read, then make numerous changes to various grammatical/syntax howlers.

    3. I have also had a bit on Buckby Boy Nick as I have him in my tracker from positive comments in Mark Howard’s Chelt festival update.

  2. GOLF BETS DP WORLD TOUR

Big game player with mental strength and nerves of steel, the course suits having won the tournament last year.

Tyrell Hatton 1 point ew 1/4 5 16/1 CO WH BF BV SUN
Another young gun who has had a fantastic season and who can forget the epic battle in the DP last year with Matt coming out on top and Tyrell has proved that he is a winner.

So far November is proving to be a difficult month with four losing bets
Total profit 34.6 points from September

  3. Hi Guys, Anybody got any thoughts on the England v Brazil game tonight. Don’t normally have a bet on the footie, only when it is live on TV, and it adds a bit more fun to the game. Thanks
