Well we had a great weekend of it, around +25 points from the various advised strategies with three decent priced winners. Let’s see if I can add to the pot below…

Bet of The Day…  (test) (Flat: 7/65,23p, +3.9) (Jumps: 9/62, +25.5) (total: 17/127, +29.6)

3.10 Ripon – Redicean – 1 point win – 11/2 (general)

Well if I was told I could only back one horse today from out list of stats/strategy quals in section 1, at the prices, this one would be it. He is 1/7,2p in his career and there could/should be more to come at some point, but at the same time he has shown ability already. This is his third start for O’Meara and he drops in trip and class here – yep, put that broken record on as you’ve guessed it, he’s doing a couple of things different, esp from his last run. For his old trainer he won over 10f, staying on strongly. Two starts ago he did the same at Donny over 10f, without ever looking like getting there. But it was a good run. Those performances suggest he is well worth a go at 12f and he could relish it. He did try it once at Salisbury before joing O’Meara but that was a C3, and was on GS which could have been an excuse. Well worth another crack.  The last day he ran over 14f in a C2 at York. He didn’t run too badly, making an effort 3f or so out before hitting trouble a couple of times. The trip may have been too far, and/or the race too deep. But he is back in a C4 here, and drops down twp furlongs. I would hope he could go close here and 11/2 felt ok, and maybe a couple of points too big given his profile/connections here.

That will be all for today.

GL with any bets

Josh

  1. Bolivia are 7/2 on betfair to beat Chile in La Paz
    Tomorrow night.(9pm English time)
That seems very big to me in their last 4 home game in world cup qualifying
they have won 3 and drawn 1(one of those wins was awarded to Peru 3-0 because they fielded an ineligible
player but would have been paid out as a winner
the game they drew they conceded an injury time equaliser to Ecuador who also play at altitude
Chile lost at home only a few days ago and fly into La Paz with little acclimatising time.
Bolivia are the inferior team but at 7/2 they look overpriced

    1. Agree 7/2 looks solid. Dont know what happened to Chile the other day? Must be Sanchez playing up? Northern Ireland are good at home and 2/1+ may be ok this evening?
