Horses of Interest…
It’s a quiet day on all fronts today so I had a flick through some of the Geegeez stats reports, and two horses at a price looked of mild EW interest…
4.45 Ffos Las – This Time Next Year… 10/1
..makes handicap debut for a trainer who is 2/13,6p with such types, +21 SP. He is also 2/15,8p with LTO winners. This one won his maiden LTO on soft and just looks unexposed- ‘could be anything’ – steps up in trip which could unlock more also. There look to be a few interesting ones in here, namely the Sir Mark shorty who could have stacks in hand no doubt. But, this one, at 10s, could be worth a small EW interest given those stats/his profile.
7.55 Notts – Kaaber… 12/1…
…makes his first start for the trainer.. who is 2/9,4p, +25 with those having their first run for him in the last two years, having raced previously for another yard. Over the last 5 he is 6/30,10p, +31… they look decent enough stats and suggests he can freshen them up for a change of scenery/routine. That was the ‘way in’.. on closer inspection the horse is a course winner who doesn’t mind cut. Only three starts ago he was running off 56. He gets in here off 49, minus a useful claim. They look to have a well handicapped, if moderate, horse on their hands. The horse can also race prominently and there isn’t loads of pace in this. I hope they run him up there. The jockey rides a bit for the yard (2/8,4p in C6 handicaps) but I did note how he has ridden the horse before, and won on him, at this track. So, he knows the horse well enough. They also ditch the blinkers. At 12s I thought there was enough there for an interest bet. The market could be some guide… Blake’s flat handicappers sent off 14/1 or bigger are 0/21,2p places, so hopefully money comes.
Do with that as you please.. and GL with any bets…

Well done with Kaaber Josh.Spot on.
Cheers Col. A nice end to a quiet enough day. Hope you had a nibble. All the pieces fitted together this time. Well backed in the end.
Echo that on a quiet day cracking pick.
Nice to see the Haggas system ticking over nicely particularly with the monster drift. Not often you see a Ryan Moore runner double in price and win like that. Thanks for putting the system up Chris.
