IMPORTANT!
- Please Note that all strategies discussed so far in The Key have been in relation to flat qualifiers. They do not apply to the Jumps (the main winter pack, inc odd track that races over summer) and Summer Jumps (just summer jumping tracks)
- Elite Squad – the thinking behind these is exactly the same as the flat as per the qualifying criteria (as detailed in the intro of the flat ES report, link in the Key). In theory, over time, they should work as well. So far both Jumps and Summer Jumps ‘Elite Squad’ (ES) qualifiers are 22 bets / 2 wins / 5 places/ -5.7 points. A couple of those placed efforts went very close, including at 20s.
- Winter Jumps… I carried out a results review at end of April that you can read HERE>>> The #1 advised strategy focused on Geegeez Speed Ratings- sadly for us they have a summer holiday for the jumps and will return in September/October. As yet I have not worked out if there is a strategy linked to the Inform Speed Ratings (I1,I3) and HRB. The data is building on those and I will have a proper look next week, given I have a chunk of results data to now look at. The other strategy looked at all those priced in the 10/1 -25/1 price range, as per the price I put next to a horse on the morning of racing. Again in the link above you can see how they did. I need to check how these have done on the Summer Jumps- generally the stats pools are not as strong as the main ‘Jumps’ stats. I will update that strategy next week also. As per the flat is is NOT advised to back all qualifiers in section 1. The Jumps stats have generally found more bigger priced winners than the flat to date, including some monster during the main winter season.
- So, do with that info as you please. It is early days for ES – the confidence in the Flat came from when it hit 50 bets, the win %, the place % and how many decent priced ones had also gone close. As yet we are not in that position with the Jumps/Summer Jumps but the logic is the same.
