1.All Qualifiers Against Stats Pack/Ratings Pointers
FLAT
Salisbury
4.15 – London’s Burning (2YO) 30 25/1, 22/1
JUMPS
Bonus
4.35 DownP – Miss Blanche (micro age) 14,30 13/2
2.Any ‘Notes’ (‘bet of the day’ + any other notes)
No bet of the day, no June quals.
Ashjan saved my own punting day, covering the others I mentioned in the notes. Watching Harry Hurricane get nabbed on the line wasn’t much fun either, for the sprint test tips on the free post. He may have hit the front too soon I am not sure, but it was entertaining at least.
Just a quick note on Midgley, who had two decent priced handicap winners yesterday that did not qualify on my June Angle…. The system looks at those with 1-4 handicap wins to their name. Before yesterday’s two winners…
If you just removed the number of handicap wins as a rule from June micro… -18 points last year, before today’s winners he was 0/18,0p this year… so -36 points last two years backing the lot.
Rules are 1-4 handicap wins… 5+ handicap wins (within the system) were 3/64, 17 places… -43 points. That’s why they were excluded. One of those days.

ROYAL ASCOT 2017
Trainer Report: READ HERE>>>
(if you missed it previously. This will be the main guide for the week)
REQUEST… I don’t mind dipping into the odd race and pulling out some key stats/trends…not ‘full profiles’ but no doubt in the odd race there may be a killer stat or two. If you have any request for races you want me to look at in that way then do say so below and I will see what I can do on Monday/through the week.

I was really taken by Dark Shot lto in the Epsom dash. A bit to find on ratings in today’s listed race,3.45 Salisbury, but interesting that they go for this instead of a hcap. Sixth furlong looks like it may help at 8/1 I can’t resist. GL
Day off Sunday and , as well as gardening, reflecting on the Royal Ascot previews. The weather seems set fair and so alcohol sales could hit a record over the five days? Royal Ascot is really a marathon and Tuesday starts crash bang and you could be done with your bankroll on the first day if things go badly. The stats are based upon the whole meeting and so do not give up on them if they do not pay out on day one. Stick with them. I do not go any more but definitely worth going to just for the experience. You only live once and as my Irish cousins say, you are a long time dead.
Yes I’m off tomorrow for Tuesday – can’t wait as I’ve never been before. Better read Josh’s Trainer Report this afternoon!!
hi guys
would you stick with jockey in form for royal ascot
like s d sousa…r moore …j crowley
thought thanks
Yep jockeys always interesting. Without doubt some handle pressure better than others and in form jockeys will be more confident. Jockey track/meeting form is tricky as often linked to the horses they ride/field sizes etc. Some jockeys may just not ride the track very well generally. Others may just not have been on the horses to showcase talents. If you like the odds etc I would never be put off just based on jockey…but stats may affect stake size say if you have a niggle. I would think SDS will be in demand so all his rides worth noting esp in the handicaps I suspect. Of course many jockeys associated with trainers/owners so always a tricky one. I’d only ever use such things as a guide personally. But that’s just me.
