None today.

Finn Class- that was annoying. I had a good look at him Saturday morning, any geegeez ‘instant expert’ users will have seen why. He ticked all the boxes and was well handicapped now, the return to soft in his favour and the reason his last two runs could be overlooked. All of that was considered pre race- dismissed at 6/1- which I thought skinny enough in a big field for a hold up type. Not sure if that was a good value call or not! He drifted to 12s,11s, and got up on the line. One of those. A shame he wasn’t 12s when I looked but there we go. Moving on.

Can I say you should put these (Finn Class) types up for us to choose if we like what you have said about it,then let the fishes bite, although 6s might be a bit skinny to you I will take it usually 4 and above.
You don’t have to class it as a BET or a TIP or anything just throw it in as one of “interest”.

Just something you might want to consider.

    1. Hi Mike, yep, noted. That is first real ones of those on the flat I have dodged. Should have mentioned him, I deliberated for long enough. Next time.

  2. Hi Josh
My Inform racing trial yesterday at Thirsk and Uttoxeter.
    6 selections
4 placed at 14s,16s,12s,14s all bet ew.
    1 NR
    1 Lost.
    It was worth a punt.

    Sunday selections Market Rasen
    Poor prices but here goes.
    1.50 i’ll be your clown 6/4
    2.55 Red Infantry 3/1
    5.00 Brecon Hill 7/4
    A wee dodgy treble?

    1. Morning Mike,
Well done yesterday with those big price places
Did you use Ian’s 80/20 method ( nice profit at Betfair s.p.)

      1. Cheers Graham, no I didn’t do it, not to familiar with it.

had 2 from 3 today rubbish prices and no return.

  3. Morning all

I have no qualifiers for my test today

I have put two bets on for plus 10/1 rating pointer angle

4.10 Ripon– Tumblewind (micro runs this season) G3 11/1 (skybet)

    3.30 MR– Work In Progress (all hncps+micro runs) 14,30 H3 11/1(skybet)

    Good luck for today

  4. A couple for me today. Firstly whilst the price has gone a bit since I had a bet last I think Sun Cloud is a good bet in the 15:50 at Stratford. Won a half decent looking class 3 race (runner up was on a hat-trick has been in good form all season and 3rd was coming from a 3rd in a £31k class 2, Josh’s BoD pick in 4th) which was the first time he had ever been successful on good ground (1/23 on better than soft before that run). He was only put up 4lbs for that run and is extremely well treated on his old form. He actually drops back into a class 4 (2/4 in class 4 handicaps) here in an arguably weaker race and his regular jockey Bryan Hughes is an upgrade.

I also want a bet on Sky Khan in the 15:30 at Market Rasen who is another well treated on his 3rd in the Martin Pipe and 4th and 5th in Graded company at the Aintree and Punchestown festivals respectively. He is now 7-12lbs below his mark last spring and 2lbs below his last winning mark. The winner of his last race has followed up in a class 2 on Friday off a 4lb higher mark. Its interesting that they bring him back to Market Rasen where he has won on 2 of his 3 starts including his last 2 wins (including at this card 2 years ago). Should go well.
