2.Any ‘Notes’ (subjective views mainly, on some of the qualifiers)
(evening prices posted – I may want a lie in tomorrow 🙂 )
Bet of The Day Test
(Flat: 1/7,5p, +8)
(Jumps: 7/43, +27)
None.
Note from last evening…
Likely nothing as putting a price up early evening is a bit fraught with danger and I try and take a more relaxed approach to Sunday mornings and am done for the day as I write… Fivehundredmiles – well that type can probably be backed blind here, handicap debut, clearly unexposed- he will either be smashed in and go very close, or be unsteady and won’t do much. By ‘very close’ – if he is well backed he may well hack up. LifeKnowledge has the full compliment of ratings pointers #1s, top rated on all three- on that basis at 7s I will have to have a go.

I am hoping to get a bit of info regarding Fivehundred miles before the off tomorrow, the GF knows the trainer, however he is a bit coy when they are going for a touch,so it would be best to see if there is positive market movement,he had 5 runners at salisbury last sunday, the 2 winners were backed, the others drifted like barges.this one has been running at meydan together with a few others from the stable. In short with the stable runners, market confidence is paramount
Morning all
My qualifiers for today
FLAT
Hamilton
2.35 – Monjeni (all hncps) I3,48%, 6/5+ price taken 4/1
3.10- Restive (4yo+, +micro class), 18%, 4/1+ price taken 7/1
(Life Knowledge I’ve got 14.5% chance and 6/1+ which surprised me due to the fact he is at the top of all the other ratings. I have had to have a little nibble at him as there is some value there this morning. Note he doesn’t qualify for my test so will not be adding his results must be 15% or better chance of winning).
I’ll post my weeks results up later on after the racing as finished/back from the football/pub 😉
Good luck all
Good luck Gavin.
Just a quick heads up for tomorrows racing at Roscommon and up and coming Trainer W McCreery,he has a couple entered for tomorrow.Josh has him included in the bonus stats for Tipp and Roscommon but this one i think will be turning a lot of the irish tracks positive over the coming years, taking a look at his 5 year record for 4yo+ he is +117 just backing blind,he is in red hot form and has the godolphin operation giving him the nod of approval. In short keep this trainer on your side for all irish racing
OK thanks I will look out for that particular angle.
well done today [ mon ] to Josh n Gerard
zamira and the desert horse
Fivehundredmiles will be trying today, according to Shanahan, that was at 2am on the larne ferry over,he has a few possibles tomorrow at ayr tomorrow too but will see how this one does first
The crossing was smooth enough. So no probs there.
Tony Mc.
Josh I think you sent out email with a word about cleeve racing last week sometime well I have to thank you as I paid for tips for flat season and at the moment they are banging in the winners at a rate of 50% l only bet to small stakes but will double up till they hit there losing run. Between Racing to profit and Cleeve things looking good at the moment Thanks again
Hi Stephen,
Good to hear. Their long term record stands the test of time, with the usual ups and downs. In truth I stopped pushing them a bit as I thought their pricing was a bit steep. But their flat discount offer was good value, hence the email. And importantly those discount fees allow you to play with 5s and 10s. You will learn a bit reading their write ups etc as well. Good to hear they have had a good start. Josh
