Below is some information from White Diamond Racing about how you can get involved in their new 2 Year Old filly, who you all helped name as ‘Blessed To Empress’.
I am contemplating a possible ‘Racing To Profit’ share via the Members Club but that is something I am pondering and will discuss with Members.
In the meantime, here is all you need to know…
Over to the guys at White Diamond Racing…
The Horse – Holy Roman Emperor x Blessing Box
Holy Roman Emperor Racingpost sire comments: top-class 2yo over 6-7f inc Phoenix S. & Lagardere; sire of Group winners; good record with fillies
The filly has quality running through her pedigree, Holy Roman Emperor, an offspring from the top class Danehill. As a 2-year-old, Holy Roman Emperor was a winner at group 1 level over 6f/7f. Since retiring he has established himself as one of the top 15 sires worldwide.
“Physically this filly looks to be a sharp early two-year-old in the making, who will keep progressing. She has a decent page to match her looks, being out of a winning half-sister to a dual Listed scorer. She has a great way of going, as well as a little bit of attitude about her which can be a good sign in fillies.” Amy Murphy.
Our filly is an early February foal and has all the signs physically to suggest she can show early form as a 2-year-old. Her dam a winner at 3, gives us clear indications from her pedigree that we can expect her to keep improving with age and experience.
Amy has said she will be ready to run at the end of the month and has penciled in a couple of races.
The Trainer – Amy Murphy
Amy for us is one the rising stars of the racing game, we are delighted to have a horse under her care. Since starting out last autumn, Amy has quickly shown herself to have tremendous skills in the sales ring, purchasing quality horses. When you look at her stats since starting her training career – she operates at a 22% win strike rate and 40% place on her runners. This clearly demonstrates her ability to find the right races for her string. Figures that most trainers can only dream of and puts her numbers in the brackets of the likes of Nicholls and Henderson.
Away from the day to day training Amy is very much of the modern era, as well as offering amazing hospitality when at the yard, she understands the modern ways to keep owners happy. We will be provided with regular updates, including training schedules, photos, and videos.
Operating out of Newmarket, Amy has access to arguably the best training facilities in Europe.
White Diamond Racing was formed in October 2011. Our colours are purple, with a white diamond, mauve sleeves, yellow armlets and a yellow cap.
The partnership was born out of our involvement with another syndicate, and White Diamond was formed after that syndicate was disbanded in order to keep our good group of members together. We are racing enthusiasts who do this because we think that ownership is a great experience, and want to be able to offer it to others at an affordable price. White Diamond Racing offers some of the best value out there for a meaningful ownership experience.
We have both a twitter account @W_DiamondRacing and our website that we regularly update – http://www.whitediamondracing.com

A very warm welcome to Amy Murphy Racing, I am absolutely delighted that you have chosen to have a share in our two year old filly by Holy Roman Emperor out of Blessing Box, I can’t wait to meet you all and very much hope we have an exciting season ahead of us.
As I am sure Tom has probably already told you she is getting very close to having her first race course appearance. When I first started to step her work up a month ago I thought on pedigree she would need to wait for the six furlong two year old races, however she has come to hand very quickly with her faster work and has found everything we have asked of her at this stage fairly easy which is always a good sign. As a result, all being well I am going to start her off in a five furlong maiden race on either the 27th of April at Beverley or the 2nd of May at Chelmsford. Like most horses by her stallion she is quite a character and sometimes has a mind of her own, as she finds her work quite easy she often has extra energy to expend and likes to bounce her rider around regularly in the preliminaries which is always good fun. The good thing with her though is whenever she is either cantering or galloping she is very professional and concentrated which is the main thing.
As I do with all my two year olds she will have a barrier trial prior to running, this is booked for this coming Wednesday the 19th at Lingfield. For anyone who is unaware a barrier trial is effectively a day out at the races without the competitive action. She will go to Lingfield and go through the process as if she was at the races for example walk around the parade ring, jump out the starting stalls and canter around the race track. It’s a nice little educational day out for them.
I have attached a video of her galloping from Saturday, she worked over 5 furlongs on the grass gallop alongside the Rowley Mile racecourse, in the video she is the horse closest to the camera. I was very happy with how she preformed, her rider Lemos De Souza said she travelled well and quickened nicely through the last two furlongs.
