All quals + RPs + bonus stats…

NOTE: I have changed the name of these daily posts, to something more suitable, especially given the flat and summer jumps picks will start filtering in also.

None. If I am correct there are no qualifiers against my Donny profile.

2.Any ‘Notes’ (subjective views mainly, on some of the qualifiers)

There will be no ‘Bet of the Day’ test.  on Saturday.

St Saviour probably looks the most interesting to my eyes, having had a brief look, given 8s and top rated on Geegeez Speed. He drops back in trip here and the CP come back on. I have a suspicion they will try and make all here. No further thoughts to add today. Some decent priced horses dotted around and Saturdays are usually kind to us (with the odd blank), especially with those in the 7/1,8/1+ region. Good luck whatever you play on today.

3.Any general messages/updates etc

IMPORTANT: Summer Jumps + Flat qualifiers will start coming through now. I would strongly advise having separate betting banks, and to treat the Summer Jumps + Flat with some caution. I/We have evidence from October now that the main (winter/non summer only tracks)  jumps work. It is just a case of how to get the best out of them. I have never tracked previous Summer Jumps or Flat stats in the real world. The logic and approach to the research is exactly the same, so in theory, they should do as well. But, as always, proof will be in the eating. We will know more by July!

That is all for today. Good luck with any bets.

  1. When you get Hobbs chaser running at Stratford at a decent price (Dr Dunraven 8/1) ridden by Johnson, there is no need to analyise, just back it,over the summer best thing is to back blindly these horses, they pay off

  2. Philip Hobbs at Stratford all chases April thru’ September has produced 21.85 SR and +17.26 points profit. 11.43% ROI BFSP. As can be expected with a top stable they don’t go unnoticed, but a lot of them will most likely go off way to short which suggests that there must be value to be had from the lesser fancied runners.

  3. Another fantastic winner St Saviour, I backed him at an incredible BSP of 17.5! I don’t know why people layed him so high but I’m glad they did.

    1. Ha, indeed. Backed him BOG and, as I sometimes do when I am annoyed at missing other winners, had a little more on at BFSP! That was good fun. Think the faller got up, but had him beat in any case.

  4. Hi Josh. Good going today, fingers crossed the rest of the season goes the same way!! I took your advice last night and backed the two shortlisted horses 1pt each and the other three from the working shortlist for 1/2pt. I also chucked a £5 free bet at St Saviour as well as backing it as a ratings pointers horse so thumbs up all round.

    1. Great stuff Jamie, appears your staking/approach to the Lincoln was much wiser than mine, as was John’s and a few others with any luck! Didn’t have a penny on- It was in effect a shortlist of 4 as was happy taking on HG, why oh why I left him I have no idea. anyway, I won’t be greedy, they did their job, i didn’t – for my own punting as much as anything else! Still, St Saviour has ensured a good day all round.
We will hit another bad patch/February at some point, but for now we should enjoys these winners!

  5. like you Josh i missed Bravery but St Saviour was my biggest bet of the day so still a nice profit , bank now quadrupled up 311pts.
many thanks for all your hard work.
