FREE DAILY POST: SAT 25/03/17 (complete)

Bet of The Day On Fire…5/13,+31 points + micro systems + 9/1 horse of interest…

Winners everywhere…

The Members Club continues to find the winners… 3 more today at 11/1, 10/1 and 7/1.

My ‘Bet of The Day’ ‘test’ found another winner, 10/1… that is now 5/13, +31 points. So, that is going ok!

There are two I fancy tomorrow at 7s and 8s, using my stats as a starting point. There looks likely to be at least one qualifier on the #1 advised angle also, which is going well.

Horse of Interest…

3.00 Newbury – Ruby Yeats – 9/1 UP (never travelling)

I have had a little EW nibble, 4 places, at this one for interest, on the back of some interesting trainer snippets… Whittington is 3/10,7p with horses he moves up in distance by 20% or more from last race, 3/12,7p with those making handicap debut, 4/19,7p with handicap hurdlers returning after 60+ days off… and the horse he finished behind LTO since hacked up in another novice and ran a decent fourth in the mares race at the Festival. So, some substance there. I just thought there were a few pointers of interest and for an fun ‘Saturday afternoon EW stab” she could give me a run for my money.

That will be all for today.

  1. Wizards Sliabh 3pm Newbury for O Brien/Brennan might be worth an e/w at 14/1 bv,stable not in good as form as autumn but they are picking up some decent saturday prizes, horse is very consistant but has been settling for minor honours so far, would prefer 16/1 ew but you cant get that everyday

  2. Fair to say Henry Oliver not had the best of seasons for whatever reason, but signs are that he is turning things around. 2/8 ,4 places last 14 days. As a consequence his Keel Haul , 2.50 Bangor today has been dropped to a winning mark and looks interesting to me at 6/1.

  3. Well thanks a bunch Josh, thanks for ruining my bet on this race. I was quite happily going to have a couple of pokes with Wizards Sliabh and Pearl Royale and you go and write one of those pieces about a horse that just tells me I’ve got it oh so wrong!
To be fair WS pops up on one of my (and plenty of other people’s) systems and PR pops up on my tracker from her 66/1 5th at Cheltenham a while back. Nigel Hawke is in much better form since the start of Feb and Sean Bowen does ok for him. She’s just a horse that I just like really and if she runs bad today I’ll probably move on, can’t see that the 50 length win last time has any value, trip and ground will be fine so we’ll see.

Anyway Josh are you sure your’s (and now mine as well!) will stay with a name like that!!

    Have a good day

    1. Haha. Please do not be put off your fancies , this was very much a ‘horse only’ selection, no in depth assessment of the other runners! No idea if she will stay but trainer record suggests he knows when to move them in trip. At 9s I had a fun 5ew. GL with yours, I will go and have a look.
