3.Any ‘Notes’ (subjective views mainly, on some of the qualifiers)
Nothing to add today. No horse I want to put up as a bet of the day as such. Oscar Jane is Top rated on Geegez speed, which as we have seen from results to date is probably ‘the’ rating to back systematically if you wanted to just pick one to follow in that way. Some sort of case could be made, given 3rd run after a break and went well for a long way LTO. Conditions are all fine. Class is a concern, although this is poor C4, as is her age in a race with a few younger ones. But I won’t be shocked if she runs a better race here. The Honeyball horse is interesting given the step up in trip, a tactic/training method he does very well with. She could improve on recent efforts, which in any case have been ok, running as if a step up could help. Minella Gathering was all out LTO in a C5 and will have to improve again, that makes 5/2 skinny to my eyes but at least in form.
Finish The Story is too short for me personally but hopefully he hacks up. I would keep an eye on market for The Kid..any support would be significant as would any drift I think. Makes handicap hurdle debut. On the flat all his form was on a sound surface so guessing as to how he handles this. Trainer a bit cold also. But unexposed in this sphere so never a shock when such types improve in past form.

A few things to note…
- You will notice there are no Stratford Stats. I could that as a ‘summer only’ track along with Newton Abbot, Perth and Worcester. I will pull together some separate stats for those when the Festival is out of the way.
- Free Posts… there will be no ‘free daily posts’ after today and I will post the micro systems/angles selections within these TTP Jumps Notes posts. So, if you follow any of those, this is where you will find them.
- The Flat… I have received a couple of emails about the upcoming Flat season… there will be a guide for this etc, and I will be pondering what to do from next week. I will share an example profile and we will go from there. I usually try and have that guide complete for soon after the Grand National meeting but there is a chance I can get it done before.
- The Festival: Day 1 post will be up from around 2/3pm I think and will start to be pulled together. I expect all content for Tuesday to be completed on Monday, including any tips.
- RESULTS: I will update the spreadsheets this morning for TTP selections and post any links in tomorrow’s TTP daily posts.
- Dont forget, from tomorrow, (they will be posted today) There will be two posts to read/flick through, the usual TTP Jumps Notes posts and the separate Festival Only posts. If you are reading this now you have access to everything, no need for further action.
