Not much to add today. Ozzy Thomas a candidate for setting a minimum price at BFSP of 11.00. He ran ok the last day and while his better form is over 16f, he hasn’t had many goes over a trip like this. Well only one go over 21f in a C2 handicap at Cheltenham where he came a 17l 3rd. So, I wouldn’t want to say with confidence just yet that he definitely can’t/won’t stay and maybe as he has got older this is what he wants. For now he doesn’t qualify on the 10/1+ approach.

Well most of those results above don’t make for pretty reading in recent weeks and I can only hope that some better form is around the corner. 10/1+ shots have matched their longest losing run of 30 to date, which happened in the middle of Jan. One of those inevitable storms given the win % and odds, although it would have been welcome for that Hammond runner to hold on having hit 1.01. All qualifiers are on quite a losing streak though since their last winner,around 48 or so. Anyway, those results are there to interrogate as you see fit. Fingers crossed the next winner isn’t too far away and at the 10/1+ range it won’t take many to banish that recent losing from memory.
