+22 points…
Hmm. Well, profit on the free daily post and that is always the main thing- the collection of micro angles would have won any followers around +22 points, if backing them all to 1 point to win.
One day when Venetia Williams has a system qualifier in a 3m+ chase I may actually tip them- Otagos Tail joins Royal Palladium as horses I wasn’t overly convinced on but that won comfortably enough. Just trust Venetia. Still, it was nice for the systems pot, if not my tipping pot. He simply had never run much beyond 19f before- so hard to say he couldn’t/wouldn’t stay, and he was 11s. But, always easy to say that after they have stayed on dourly. Still, with any luck my ‘top weight’ angle in the Rehearsal will reward me over time with any luck.
Virak was just awful, no run for my money. Saphir un-shipped early – no excuse there, he had time to measure that fence. Blacklion ran his heart out, but stopped a bit quickly- it looked good for a time as they turned in. Jockey suggested they may look at his wind. Native River ran like the good G1 horse he appears to be, and is developing further into. You need class to keep up that gallop, to jump like that, and to pull away again over the last. And he would prefer it softer. Class. Credit to connections, who can do no wrong. The main stats did their shortlisting job- the top 8 finding the 1-2, not that I backed either. Hopefully they can do the same next year and I may land on the winner! I must be one of the few people who didn’t tip him up I think, most thinking 6s/5s more than fair. What a Gold Cup hand the Tizzards could have if ending up with all three big guns in the race.

+20 Points…
I still can’t tip but I do like telling you about people who can- Dr Nick Hardman won any followers +20 points to advised stakes/prices on Saturday. Top work again. He is very good in big races. Final Assault (4th), Native River and Ultragold brought in the profits. His tios/advice on the big race days must be through +500 points for the year now I think. Blimey.
The next tips will be next weekend, from Aintree and Sandown.

i thought Native River looked good in winning the Hennessy. Blaklion ran out of steam and Smad Place had too much weight. Apples Jade rallied well to be beaten by a course specialist. Come the spring we may see her at her best?
Yep he was very impressive, just went at it from flag fall and ultimately nothing could live with him. would think the 2nd has a nice handicap in him this year too, Welsh National maybe , but that was a decent run.-
Empire of Dirt just bolted up at Navan, previous Chelt winner for us LTO, absolutely destroyed what looked a competitive field there- he looks destined for bigger things- Graded races for sure, possible Grand National type maybe. Blacklion- was possibly a problem given how we travelled into it and then seemingly the struggled- usually a strong finisher so who knows, jockey was surprised how he seemed to stop. Apples Jade has plenty of time on side, maybe a step up in trip?
