TTP Jumps Notes: 24/10/16 (COMPLETE)

Complete…Qualifiers+ Notes+My View for Ayr…

A trip to Ayr today…

St Gregory (micro- horse runs season) WON 6/1>11/2 *travelled much better than LTO, never in much doubt would be involved there come end.

Ping (micro – horse runs season) UP 6/1

NOTE: Richards 0/5,2 places last 14 days. No stable form reason to be put off one really I don’t think. St Gregory won last time out – he is a tricky ride from memory and can get detached/need plenty of riding. I suspect he will hit much bigger than his price here in running at some point. Then a question of whether he decides to run on and put it in – conditions all fine and repeat of that last run would put him in the mix you would think. Ping – Richards not prolific with hncp hurdlers break of 60+ days but has enough winners, 1/9,2 places track with such runners. This one is 0/8,0 places in career but you would think there will be more to come at some point, even at a moderate level. That days rest is interesting – the kind which makes you wonder whether they have given him a wind op or something- that is just a semi educated guess though.

Premier Gand Cru UP (all hncps, micro distance + 0 runs 90 days)

NOTE: Ewart in form 3/12,7 places last 30 days. This one has a lengthy break to come off – he can get them fit but market may guide. His one at Kelso the other day was backed in the morning before doubling in price as the race approached. If A1 has the ability to take this.

Fair Loch (micro – age) WON 9/2> 4/1

NOTE: Ellison in form – 5/23,9 places last 14 days. Only the horses second chase start in career, somewhat unexposed/inexperienced. Trainer is only 1/36,8 places with handicap chasers returning 60+ days off in last 5 years, that is a slight negative on paper at least.

Carry On Arcadio (NHF trainer) UP (4th, one for notebook I think, well backed, he was very green up straight, made up a lot of ground down back straight,we shall see if he is one to watch)

NOTE: Not much to say with this one, market may be some help, can see from stats that trainer is 4/13,7 places with bumper runners here last 3 seasons, so maybe a case of trusting those first and foremost if you like the price etc.

My View:

Well there are none above that you could say can’t win or have major reasons why you would strike them off straight away. 3.35 – just appears a fitness question for both really which would temper my enthusiasm for wading in but if either is tuned up they could play a role.

Good Luck with whatever you play.

NOTE: I will update the total/weekly results at some point today and post a link in tomorrow’s post. I also owe you members a monthly research article and will pull together something in the next few days – a trainer in focus piece I suspect.

    1. Ah well hopefully some stats guide users got on at that price, plenty of 10s around still when I posted I believe. Hopefully good sign. You get on at 16s? Let’s hope he can go well.
