My trip to Aintree was good fun and I will write up some notes. While my paddock eye could be better it worked ok at identifying which ones to avoid- not so well at which ones to back! I find Aintree a tough punting track on the whole despite rarely missing a day and did so again yesterday. I had a small ‘fun betting’ budget and didn’t come home with any of it. Albeit I wasn’t overly dogmatic on anything. Still it was good to catch up with various racing friends. I think there are a few who could be worth tracking who definitely were not fit here. Anyway, more on that later.
Onto today…
